Damn.....I had feeling I was the only one with the problem, as normally when pinnacle is down there is immediately a thread where people are discussing it.

        Thanks for your reply.

This is getting a bit strange.

I have tried using both my regular computer and my laptop, and neither will access it. Unfortunately at the moment I only have one connection, but it seems as it is being blocked somehow. Every other site I can access without any problems.

            I can even access: http://football.pinnaclesports.com/

But if I try to click on "sports", then it crashes.

I have cleared cookies, i have deleted temporary internet files. I have restored the system to a point where i knew it was working.

                  But nothing worked.

But now i have talked to the tech support. And he told me that he had never seen anything like it. I send him a copy of my log and it shows that when ever i try to connect to pinnacle it goes into a loop between a few internal sites, and keeps going in that loop untill i get timed out ( a bit hard to explain ).

Then I tried checking the route to one of the mirror sites posted here http://forum.sbrforum.com/players-ta...here-guys.html

And then I could get a little bit further. I got to a server in Miami, and then I was timed out.

Were you running a line scraper? If it ran too hot, Pinnacle's robot assassin may have killed your connection.

It has happened a few times for me. Just send them your IP and they take care of it. Specifically it has happened to me when I have had multiple tabs up with pinnacle in my browser. For some reason they don't like that. It was maybe a year ago so maybe they have fixed it.

Pareto, I am in your EXACT same situation as of about 5 days ago. Both laptops stopped working for Pinny site only. This is the case for both IE and Firefox. I'll take Chopsticks suggestion and contact Pinny since I do frequently have multiple tabs open with Pinny's dynamic lines up.

I got a reply back from Pinnacle saying that now they had unblocked my IP, since it had previously been blocked. And then the site worked for about 30 min.

But now it doesnt work again.

I am not using any robotic tools or automated programs etc. So I dont know what is causing the block.

Your IP has probably also been blocked, so yeah write them and get it unblocked.

They will ban your ip if your are refreshing their lines too much.

Even using multiple tabs without dynamic lines can get you in trouble. If you use dynamic lines on multiple tabs with multiple sports it won't work in my experience. If watching MLB on one tab and NBA on the other then the 2nd one will start auto refreshing MLB lines instead... Or opposite. Just don't do it. The first time it happened to me I used dynamic on two tabs, then got blocked. After I was unblocked I thought I could use multiple tabs but without dynamic lines, got banned again after just a few seconds. This was the same night so I didn't get to place any of the bets I wanted to. It was the same CS rep who handled it both times so it was obviously embarassing.

Using an odds comparison site is not ideal because of the delays, but it is better than having your IP blocked.

Our IT Department advises that the IP address you provided has been accessing the site excessively or is using robotic tools. When we notice this type of activity, the IP address is blocked from our site.

We understand our clients want to update lines, but expect this to be done in a reasonable manner. Rather than use the refresh button, clients may use the Dynamic Lines Display option which is available on most of our pages.

We have unblocked your IP address.

Please remember that continued similar activity will cause your IP to again be blocked.

                                        Me Too

I am having all kinds of trouble with Pinnacle. I was getting blocked like you several times over the last week. Then they shut me down for a day, it worked for a few hours then it got blocked again. Here is what I just got.

                                        Dear Sir,

Our IT Department has reviewed your access logs and reports that you are being blocked because of the extremely high simultaneous connection attempts, which our firewall perceives as a threat. They believe you may be using some version of Windows (XP,Vista,Win7), but not a version of Windows Server. They also believe some kind of surfing accelerator add-on is being used to increase browsing speed or an automated script/"robot". A computer modified in this manner in order to optimize p2p file sharing also generates an extraordinary amount of simultaneous connections. Our IT Department further advises they believe this may be a security issue for your computer. They believe it may either be infected or a modification was done to increase speed for p2p that is causing the excessive inbound connection attempts. Pinnacle Sports has done this evaluation without actual access to your computer and takes no responsibility for the accuracy of the information. Please contact your local computer technician to review these issues. We will not be able to continue to unblock your IP address on a daily basis while you are generating this type of traffic.
                                        Kind regards,
                                        Customer Service Department
                                        Pinnacle Sports

I have no idea what they are talking about or what I should do. I use a basic home wireless connection and sure as hell don't use robots. I'll keep checking to see if others are having the same problem.
