phone call from mike of 5dimes/blackdog

i think bbd said a while back blackdog is a scam site. anyways. i got got a cold call from mike (the name he gave me), he claimed that he used to work for 5dimes and that is how he got my email and phone number. now he has a website called blackdog. he said i don't need money to start betting, it is going to be on credit. if i win, they'll pay me with checks that has no processing fee. if i lose, i pay them. sounds like local type of operation. just for shit and giggles, i told him to go ahead and email me more info. kind of suprised he knew my email address as well...so i don't know if he stole the info from 5dimes or what the deal is here.

anyways, i heard about blackdog cold calling people before, so i am aware of this whole thing. once i recieve the email, i'll post it on this thread. if any of you actually decide to join blackdog, you can post your experience with blackdog here as well. i am kind of curious what is the real story here. is the dude mike really trying to steal customers from 5dimes? did he ever worked with or for 5dimes?

I've quit answering my phone unless I recognize the number I've been getting so many sales pitches from scam books lately. You'd think a "how can you live with yourself" and "**** yall don't call me again you scumsucker" would get the point home, but apparently not...

SCAM ALERT: BlackDog Sportsbook falsely claiming to be part of 5Dimes

Players report being solicited by the book which uses the website BlackDogEG.com and the slogan "Got Credit?" Blackdog is attempting to gain business by misrepresenting itself and offering players the ability to bet without deposits. This scam usually ends with bettors being unable to collect winnings, often after already having paid the book for previous losing weeks.

5Dimes users will receive a warning message from customer service by email with the following statement:
It has come to our attention that another sportsbook has been soliciting customers claiming to be associated with 5Dimes. 5Dimes is NOT associated or partnered with any other offshore sportsbook. Any company stating they are working with 5Dimes in any manner is a fraudulent scam trying to steal player's money using the 5Dimes good name. There is only ONE 5Dimes. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this matter, please contact 5Dimes customer service.

was told if they owed me on the first of any month i could be paid and if i were more than 100 down, i would have to bring my account current.

i got down by 370 or so......but fought a tough fight and made it back to under 100 down......but when i log on it says that i need to deposit 500. LOL dream on buddies.

surely i will get up again.....not going to let it back over the 100 mark, so unlikely i would ever have to bring it current

had asked another book about them......they said they are legit legbreakers.

keep us posted. i think you should take a lesson from jj and use several p.o. boxes across the country. that way, those bastards can never find you.
