Did you try to cash or deposit the check yet, Billy?

Where do you live? If you want to play at Pinnacle, you'll need a non-US address.

Willie Bee ...I received a check from the Jazette family of books...trying to get out whats left of my money and recieved a check dated August 8 that arrived on October 20. It was drawn on a bank from Lebannon...the bank wouldn't immediately deposit it...instead sent it out in a deposit pouch for collections and said if it's valid it should take between 2-4 to show up in my account...is this true?? Do you think the check is any good?? I have copies of the deposit slip, check, and of the notation the bank wrote up regarding the item before sending it out...

          Between 2-4 what? Days? Weeks?

Pete, I've got no clue on good/bad Lebanese banks to be honest. Will your bank get the check back if it's not good? Color me doubtful seeing as how it's a sportsbook.com deal. Just wondering if it does go for naught what the Jazette book is going to do then with just a photocopy of the check/deposit slip. Lot of banks also auto void checks after x-days, ranging from 60-180 here in the USA.

sorry 2-4 weeks...I can't believe it took so long on a withdrawl I initially made in July, and then I get a check dated August 8 in October...checks are good for 12 months from the date of issue unless there's a void expiration date on it...People need to stay away from both Sportsbook and Jazette books...I had been using Jazette in 2005-06 with no problems and even into the spring of this year..but ever since April it's been a total nightmare. My bank said that the deposit item would be returned..but who knows....if it doesn't get deposited then I would think they'd destroy thinking it's fraudulent deposit.

yes receive Canadian checks all the time. Since they have a correspondent bank in the U.S., they cash as quickly as U.S. checks. If you get a Canadian Check without a correspondent bank routing numbers - ie Canadian routing numbers on the check, your bank is going to have to be one that processes foreign checks, it is going to cost a large fee, and it is going to take time.
