#3i played bases these a couple of years ago and had no problems with them
they are old school bookies, when you lose you pay and when you win you get paid
i dealt with them on a credit basis with an agent out of CR
overall expierence was good
at the same time i had an account with cris thru the same agent and the expierences were the same for meComment -

#6I dont think BBD will be depositing into Plat.SB. I think he just wants some feedback on the book is all. To see where they stand at this time.
I see your getting geared up for Bases DM, with that BoSox logo.
I cant wait for Bases myself.

#7Dead Money, I play at more places than most to my own loss at times. I am not saying anyone should use them as a primary book or even their 12th choice, but for me they offered some value and have had no payout complaints that I am aware of. Stick to B or better and don't even have to worry. I think PlatinumSB is pretty good for a D+ book, but they certainly are new to postup and that is somewhat reflected in that I would guess.Comment -

#8Can't wait Onlooker.
I didn't meen to say that anyone was depositing there or anything, I'm just a little overly cautious this time of year.
Kinda curious of how many books will fail or slow pay after the SB.
I've heard it has been a pretty rough year for the books/bookies.
I'm just using 3 rite now and they are all A or higher on the SBRComment -

#10Last year they dipped their toe into the -105 market with $500 limits, but apparently decided not to go that way. They're volume still mostly comes on the credit end, and they haven't quite figured out how to establish a deposit presence.
I've never heard a complaint against them.Comment -

#12Somehow i'd say things are looking a little rosier after bowl season. A lot of inflated favourite lines that the public jumped all over i'd say. Books gotta be cleaning up.Originally posted by Dead MoneyCan't wait Onlooker.

#14Anything new about Platinum in the last 2 years? Probably doesn't matter as you need an agent I think.

#15The reason for the downgrade back on 11/5/07 was because the owner got arrested.
They are strictly a credit shop these days. However, every player that had funds in their accounts at the time did get paid without any problems.11/5/2007 09:34 PM
