Just look on the tv on the first photo, thats not even a flat screen...
I guess they buy odds and pay linemakers from other bookmakers like all small bookmakers, or they just copy/paste from them, waiting others to open first.
Maybe they are honest and have potential and will not scr..w you, but there is not a single reason to chose them instead of Pinnacle or any top rated book, is ist?
On second thought since they have no TV's it would be a good book to place bets after the game has started.

Welcome to ActionOnSports.com!
This is our internet branch -- our telephone wagering branch is called EZ-BET.
We are a licensed, well established sportsbook located in San Jose, Costa Rica -- operating since 1996 and advertising daily under the Roxy Lines in the sports section of The Toronto Sun.
* Canadian dollar accounts.
* Las Vegas style wagering and odds
Accounts can be funded in the conventional manner, however most of our customers do not deposit money in advance.
IT WORKS LIKE THIS:
1. Request that we get a hold on your credit card for a specific amount.
2. This amount becomes your credit line.
As holds freeze the requested amount for 5 business days, your credit remains for the same period after which you simply request that we get another hold.
If you break even or win on a day's plays. your credit card is not charged. Your card is only charged if there is a net loss on your account after a day's plays.
Of course, if you prefer, we also offer typical post-up accounts (money deposited in advance).
We take the security of your private information very seriously. Since we started, and in over 10 years, there has not been one case of compromised personal information or improper use of credit card information.
Please call 1-800-770-0270 for further information.

Playing with them for years. Great sportsbook. Fastest payouts. A manager there tells me that SBR came over unexpectantly early on a very slow day that had no early games and only a couple of late games. Apparently a tree damaged by a storm was being removed at the time and six workstations were removed to make it easier to get the tree out. Also other employees were camera shy. Very few sportsbooks allow pictures to be taken of there office and I never saw one that allows pictures of employees. Com'on SBR They were nice enough to let you take pictures. You got more class than some of the posters. At least you could show only the pictures after the floor was swept. Apparently the work was in progress but almost finished as you arrived.

This review may actually put the book completely out of business instead of promoting it. I haven't seen that many bad remarks since Monica sucked Clinton's cigar.

You dont have to have a big shop to run big business. Internet marketing & sales can be done in a closet with a laptop by 1-2 people, so a book can be the same way. Nice computer equipment is all you really need to handle volume & a few people answering the phone.
I would have no problem givin a book like this a chance. Low overhead means low or no fees. Why would I feel more comfortable if they were paying $3,000 a month in rent & made their employees wear khakis???

If you think the office is unusual, check out their retro website layout. Not a 'modern' or web inclined sportsbook, but one that by all accounts has been ran honorably since they've been in business.
You say they have been in business for ten years and there web site for five years. Positive comments from customers and no negative . Can't beat that

That and his special ability to force choke any sharps that happen to play make this an A+ book for any recreational bettor. Although he has let himself go over the years...

they have been advertising in the toronto star for the past like 15 years. I used to give them action when i was underage but there is no point in using them if you have other outs.

This thread is really funny. I wouldn't send my money to these guys but to be fair... one guy Mark started some site while still living in the dorm of Harvard and now it is worth more than Disney... Bill Gates and those guys with Helwet Packard started in their garages too so ... you can never know if these guys are the next Pinnacle

All you fukkers laugh and berate this operation, but most of you don't have a clue what, where, and how your locals operated, before the days of the internet. Most lived and worked out of trailer houses or some cut & shoot dive bar, that you were too scared to go in, so you met the Man, at some car dealership and shopping mall parking lot. Still today most locals are probably some very shady characters, and if your still calling and working a one on one, then you have just about as good a chance of collecting from him, as you do from this operation.
And yes, they could be the next Pinnacle, 5 Dimes, Bovada or Ass Clown Sports, but remember all business has to start somewhere and usually starts small, and could be a reason they're still around. While some of the other shops, that folks had a lip lock on their tea bags are GONE.

Yea, tells me two things, 1. they must be solid and pay their clients to have been around since 99.
2. What the fuk do you need full timers for at 8 am on a Tuesday morning, what sport is playing at that time, so therefore, the employees really not pulling down a full time job, guess that's why they call them
part-timers, huh. I would call that Good Management, don't pay for what ya don't need.

can we somehow get all of these visits with photos to the offices of various books linked into one sticky in the sports book and industry section?
