After playing at BetEd for about a month I was given dual lines. Ed's software actually does it by ip and account#. I logged on using a IP blocker and the lines were what my buddy was getting. I called CS and she played dumb and I told her about me changing ips and then she admitted it. Every point spread shows -120 has anyone else had this happen? They did pay fast and offered some great lines.

#2Are you sure they are not using your userid. Using the IP address doesn't make sense. You can just login at work, kinkos, or the library.Comment -

#3The second lineset at Ed was just added to their system.
ATS,
Are you saying that all the prices doubled or you are getting shaded lines with better prices on the other side?Comment -

#6I reccomend you speak to the Sportsbook Director or someone in charge of the sportsbook. If my alternator is broken on my car I want to speak to the mechanic, not the receptionist at the mechanic's shop.
I know split lines are indeed new at betED and all standard spreads are twenty cent lines at all books, but it's hard to believe you're getting -120/+100. If true, that's crazy and I would think you'd have a great chance to play some games at no juice? Most likely a technical glitch or a misunderstanding?Last edited by Mason; 10-24-07, 03:03 PM.Comment -

#9From what he says it looks like all he needs is another IP address. That is easily provided by using a dial up service. Most of them give you a different IP address every time.
Also if the line is suppose to be +7 -110 and beted now gives you +7 -120, then you have a no vig bet on -7 +100. I'd rather bet dogs for no vig, but occasionally the fav is the way to go, especially if the line is off. For example, it is suppose to be -7.5 -110 and Beted give you -7 +100.
Something just doesn't make sense here. Either beted is stupid, or the poster needs to study this further and find out exactly what is causing the duplicate lines.
If Beted is really doing this, then we should all try to get on the duplicate line program, because it creates advantageous opportunities and we can just bet the -120 side somewhere else.Last edited by louis; 10-25-07, 09:46 AM.Comment -

#14I was told to contact help@beted.com and they would consider putting me back on the original profile and its been over a week with no response. Ed paid no problems, ECheck deposits/payouts just like the old days.Comment -
