Bodog CS reps are idiots...

I've had a couple of face-plant worthy exchanges with Bodog CS, the latest round coming yesterday. They sent me this bonus offer that I can get only if I bet specific MLB games. Yesterday's game was cancelled, so I emailed them asking if I should bet on a different game to get the bonus. Their response:

Please be advised that the games you are referring to has been postponed due to rain and your funds will be posted back into your account.
This game will still be eligible for the promotion, as a part of the Double Header that will be played tomorrow.

I email them back asking which leg of the doubleheader I need to bet, and they email me again with the nearly the exact same response.



This sort of thing is pretty typical of Bodog, and the fact that they are an A- book says a lot about the state of the offshore industry right now.

If books were rated solely on the level of intelligence of customer service employees, I'm not sure there would be any A's. Ask to speak to a manager if you need something cleared up, it really is the quickest way to get an answer. The CS employees aren't trying to give you bad information, or trying to be lazy, they just have a limited grasp/handle on day to day things that managers are fluent in.
