    ****ing Bodog
it's my second time to post new thread today, why? cuz the Bodog is really a shit!

after i won my wager on the winning margin of NBA playoffs between CLE and CHI for an odd of 61, they told me that the line was wrong and changed it to 7

    do you believe that?

if so, are the odds for CHI of 31,31,41 all wrong? also, why didn't them change it with 5 hours, but just after the end of the game?

obvisouly, i won't play any more in Bodog after getting my money out, take care guys when you bet on the Bodog

hmmmm, gotta be more to the story here............ fill out an SBR complaint

Update: nevermind -- you have no case here -- you weren't getting 61/1 under any circumstance. You should get paid at 6/1, and that's that.

So Lemme get this right....They make an obvious line error and then they fix it and now you feel scammed when every other odd around the 61 is under 10 or so? Very sensible

It's a bad line and they have the right to change it...no need to create a 2nd thread..

They (like all off shore books) have the right to change any bad line. Moreover they say so up front.

Alternatively, they could have chose to cancel your wager citing a bad line. I'm sure if you would like that option, they would be more than happy to make it happen.

This is exactly why the comment about "how would the situation be treated in Vegas" in the thread about Bodog Golf shouldn't apply to their US facing brand. If you bet 61/1 in Vegas, you get paid at 61/1, none of this "obvious typo" stuff that the offshores do.

                        You'll also get 86ed.

The easiest way around that is by cashing your ticket at the cage after the sportsbook closes, although admittedly that mightn't always work. They don't always 86 for betting bad lines, though, a couple Super Bowls ago someone I know bet a 100/1 prop that should have been closer to 10/1 and had no problems cashing the ticket.

FYI- The Bodog brand licensees are going to amend their golf rules so that they all follow the example set by Bodog.co.uk- this means all golf wagers in the future on player(s) that do not start will be void with stakes refunded.

                            Thanks,
                            Becky
