There are several states with different forms of gambling on the table.


Frank has a poker only exemption from the UIGEA on the table. I think he wanted all gambling included, but realized it would be too much of an uphill battle so just went with poker.


I would be surprised to see sports wagering cleared on the federal level any time in the near future. The bible thumpers don't like gambling. They are against poker too, but I could see some of those bills passing.

I wonder if they're going to get even more serious about cracking down on banks who let sports book transactions slip through if they get the exemption for poker officially passed.
