    BetUS and professional players
I have now handled two complaints against BetUs where I concluded the player is being treated unfairly. Both involve bonuses and pro players.

In the first one, a player deposited, collected a bonus, and met his rollover before using the bonus. BetUS closed his account, and would not let him use the freeplay bonus.

On a second complaint, a player made a deposit, collected a bonus, used the bonus, and inccurred about 90k in rollover. After meeting about 40k in rollover, BetUS lowered his limits to $50. The player was told that he could have $500 limits if he phoned in. He purchased a VOIP phone to place telephone bets, and BetUS reneged on those limits, restoring them to $50 for internet and phone. The player is roughly break even with a balance of $8k, which includes 4k in freeplay winnings. BetUS offered to waive rollover if the player would forfeit his freeplay winnings.

If you are a pro player, you need to either avoid BetUS, or keep your deposits small enough that this reduced limit bullshit won't bother you... If you deposit 1k and incur 10k in rollover, you will probably meet it before you get hassled.

Justin, how are the players defined as "pro"? I assume it's more than someone going on a winning streak... Do the players concerned actually see themselves as pro?

If you see that BetUS has a game at +5 when the rest of the market is +4.5, and you bet +5 at BetUS, you are a pro.

In my opinion it shold be a F rated book .They still practice stall an slow pay tactics, deal dual lines ,and lure people into their Venus Fly Trap with huge bonuses .

I translated that to, if you use sbr free odds your a pro. I can teach a chimp to be a pro base on that.

I really think books should consider people pro only when they are beating the closing vig by 20-30 cents based on a -110, -110.

I mean seriously even if your betting +4.5 at -110 and you get it at +5 and your paying -110 your still losing in the longer run. And to have them hinder your limits and stuff for something so small is crazy.

100% true, guess all they want is to keep the money and see how they can screw you.

Maybe they are trying to recoup all their money they have spent on marketing? Thanks for the poker set btw!

They screw small players too. As I've posted before, I emailed them asking if they had any current bonus offers and they offered me a 100% bonus, and simply said "contact us to claim your bonus." So I made a $200 deposit to get a $200 bonus they offered me, and after I deposited, they reneged on the offer, claiming that I had to call in advance to "have them help me make my deposit" to get the 100% bonus, even though the intial offers imply said "contact us" and said nothing about specifically needing to call, or contact them in advance. Then, they canceled two CBB totals I bet claiming "bad line" that were only off by a couple points, and those bets were only $40 or $50.

I had to cancel my BetUs account because they are constantly moving the lines. I'll check the line before logging into my account and it will say one thing, then when I log in instantly the line jumps. And I'm no expert. LOL My problem was I signed up through one of John Morrison's links.

If you bet the opposite of his release a few times (while getting a free 2 points), you'll quickly be removed from the JM line set. If not, you can just scalp every play out at Pinny or Matchbook.

They deal a bunch of different line sets, and they must be extremely liberal with putting people on a delay because I made a tiny deposit and some tiny bets and was pretty quickly delayed. The vast majority of the time I notice an off line, even if it isn't off by much, they pull that "the line has moved" crap on me.

They move the lines if you sign up through Morrison's link? What a scam! If you want to play JM, sign up with a different book or sign up independently (not through the link).

Thanks...I ended up with BetJamaica...no issues. I think if i had to go back, I'd sign up without a link. Problem now is all my info is tide to that JM link, address & ID. Haven't cashed out yet on BJ, so as long as that's just as fast as BetUs, then I'm in a good situation.

Got lucky, got a big FP bonus before football season which I scalped out, and also lost my entire balance so i don't have to deal with this crap. Best of both worlds.

I don't know what's wrong..............I have them rated as a very solid B rated book. Beware & Be aware.

I can relate numerous bad news stories from over the years on a first hand basis.
One of my humorous ones: Upon opening, they as you what you favorite team is, LLOL ! Don't know if they still do this, tho, but I know at that time they were known to deal more than one line.

Word was out that they were turning their image around the last couple of years, but it looks like that proverbial apple hasn't fallen far from the tree.
