They don't ask. Of course, I almost never go to the bank in person.

My standard answers if I had to explain something like this though... "It's from consulting" (which is actually accurate).

I have also been told to say "It's from my real estate business", but I've never done this. It makes sense to a bank though, if they see a wire incoming from Central America.

Yes, they cut people off from BetPoints.

You don't even have to beat them that badly. I have no idea what it took for them to cut me off, maybe it was the type of bets I was making (NFL teasers before they changed the odds), but I'm not a limit bettor and I wasn't up a ton by any means.
