    1XBET confiscated 5.401,14€ of winnings

I deposited 4.100€ a couple of weeks ago, placed some bets (mainly European soccer competitions and some NBA games) and after some fortune in betting, my balance was 9.501,14€. This week I wanted to cash out on some profits and after the security check they decided to void all my bets and only pay back my initially deposited amount.

    This was there mail:
Good Day. We are bringing to your notice that we made a decision to stop any collaboration with you (closing your gaming account) on the basis of General Terms and Conditions of the Bookmaker Company: Should the bettor commit fraud in respect to the bookmaker (such as the registration of multiple accounts, the use of automated betting software, arbitrage betting, if the betting account is not used for betting, the improper use of loyalty schemes, etc.), the bookmaker reserves the right to stop such fraudulent actions by:
    -bet cancellation;
    -closure of the customer’s account with the balance being refunded;
    -filing a claim to a law-enforcement agency.
Effective as of 1 January 2011
It was made decision after close investigation of the situation by our Security Service. We ask you not to create playing accounts in our company. Please, be aware that new accounts created by you will be closed, bets will be cancelled, deposited funds will not be returned, they will be used on the expenses related to investigation and blocking. Due to the fact that your actions are the most rough violation of rules of our company, the decision about stopping the collaboration with your is final and it can not be reviewed. All requests from you on the topic of blocking will be ignored. You can withdraw the deposited sum only.

To be completely honest I am not guilty to any of the above mentioned frauds. I’m just a recreational gambler from Belgium, I have a full time job so I just place bets for recreational purposes. I do not have multiple accounts, I do not have automated betting software, I do not do arbitrage betting, I did use the account for betting purposes and I did not misuse the loyalty schemes. So I do not agree with the incorrect account closure. I asked for proof of any of these accusations, no further reply was given, just complete radio silence.

Can you help me with this? Because I would really like to have my winnings. If they want to close my account because I'm winning, I can live with that as long as they pay me the money that I won by placing legit bets!

Conclusion: account closed and 5.401,14€ in winnings were confiscated. For me this is a pure scam, if you lose they take your money and if you win then they don't pay you..

It is by using Google that I found this forum.. it's just that I did not do my homework when it came to checking if the bookmaker is reliable. By now I know better..

File a complaint at SBR: https://www.sportsbookreview.com/sportsbook-complaint/

File a complaint at their licensor Curacao eGaming: https://www.curacao-egaming.com/#page_id-35

Don't get your hopes up. There is virtually no chance to get your winnings.

You can kinda understand why they would forbid bots, obviously multi accounts ......... but arbitrage as an excuse to seize an entire balance? That could catch anyone by accident.

    Not really.

They scan for arb opportunities real time.

The time windows that each one is available, the crazy volume of them you hit compared to other users, and hitting them when they come available against the same books over and again produce a very convincing report.

That said, the accuracy of the data is dependent on who interprets it as well... and the way this book operates it would not shock me that they are unreasonable with the arbing calls as well.

The thing is that I don't do arbitrage betting! I just value bet on European soccer and NBA, whenever I think the odds for a certain team are good for a value bet, I take the bet. Were some of the games I bet a potential arbitrage bet? I don't know, it is possible but I don't know as I don't look for arbitrage opportunities.

I certainly do not have an automatic bot and don't own multiple accounts.

BTW: how can someone who is just placing (value) bets know whether that match has an arbitrage opportunity? I'm not going to spend my time figuring out whether there is an arbitrage opportunity.. and what if there is an arbitrage opportunity, that means I can't bet on that match as I risk losing all my money? This is just pure madness if you ask me.. they just give themselves a reason not to pay you..

(such as the registration of multiple accounts, the use of automated betting software, arbitrage betting, if the betting account is not used for betting, the improper use of loyalty schemes, etc.) Using "etc" in any binding contract or terms is pretty much a catch all. One sided contract language, not acceptable at all.

I play at more reputable places, but I think about having my funds seized by some scumbag everyday. I guess you can sue the company in their jurisdiction, but too many unknowns.

I'm still waiting for someone suing a book in Curacao.

Why is there no class action against 1xbet?

I received an update, as Curaçao eGaming asked them for an update on this complaint:

The player has violated the rules by creating multi-account, therefore the sanctions were applied to the account and all the player's bets were recalculated with odds of '1'. The existance of the multi-account is proved by the security service and this fact is beyond doubt.
The amount deposited to the account was paid to the player in full.
This is really beyond comprehension, as I do not have multiple accounts. Why the f*ck would I need multiple accounts! So I asked them to proof this, this was there reply:

Re-registration was detected by our systems on several parameters. These data were considered in aggregate and give all the reasons to believe that the accounts really belong to one ans the same person:
    1. Communication from the device fwhere the bets were made.
    2. Match of the Names and surnames indicated in the registration forms.
    4. The manner of playing on two accounts is the same.
The second account was registered after the first account has been restricted.
This is nothing more than a standard copy paste of a template mail, they even forgot to rename the 4th bullet point to the 3rd bullet point. If I would have wanted to create multiple accounts, why would I even use the same name? That's something only an idiot would do..

However I'm still mailing with them and Curaçao eGaming.. I'll post the outcome on this forum!

PS: As I read through this forum, I saw that other people were also scammed by 1XBET so I'm planning to start a litigation if they do not pay me my winnings. If someone is interested in joining, let me know by replying on this thread or sending me a PM! The more cases we can bundle, the better the chances.

    2. Match of the Names and surnames indicated in the registration forms.
What a stupid argument. Names and surnames are the same but addresses and passports are different or what? And this shall serve as a proof for multiple accounts?

Those 1xbet scammers do not even make an effort to search for good explanations.
