Who is *.com/*?

I was having some trouble depositing a sum of 500$ (authentication issues) into both Bodog and 5Dimes the other day and instead i just deposited 1000$ into betonline instead.

Today i checked my bank statement and I have a charge for 500 as well as a charge of 1000 on my card. the 1000 to "*.com/*" and the 500 to "*/*". Both my bodog and 5dimes accounts show balances of zero while Betonline has my 1000$ deposit present.

Whats the proper way of dealing with this? File a **********?

You had better check with both Bodog and 5 Dimes to see what happened. Also go to the "*.com* site and read all about them. You may have to contact them.

just talked to 5dimes, and they have verifed that */* is indeeed their billing department. however, they arent able to find my deposit, only my 2 failed attempts.

Is there any danger in just filing a **********? the customer service guy is trying to pretend that ill get in trouble with my bank for depositing to a gambling website. is that something i actually need to be concerned about?

just an update, i spent about 2 hours today tlaking to 5dimes customer support and the verification department. i got the issue resolved and they ended up crediting my account with the 500.
