    SBG Global

Anyone heard or been on that site lately?

I used it back in early to mid 2000s. They were always good to me.

Has anyone been using it lately?

Offering me a 100% cash match bonus was looking into taking advantage of.

They had a promo offering up to $1000 bonus with a 1x rollover for football season last year.

I had been expecting to see heaps of problems posted later in football season but do not recall seeing any.

What is the offer this year?

I just spoke with a rep. I'm not sure if it's a per member offer, but for me its a 2x rollover up to 5k 100% match and comes as cash.

I had read some reviews mainly alluding to problems resulting in higher amounts in regards to cashout amounts.

They were always good to me, but back when I started gambling I had nothing more than a few thousand dollars as my big cashout.

I think I would only deposit enough that I thought I would complete rollover by week 5 or 6 and plan to cashout if I was risking it there.

Probably good advice here. Don't wait until the season is coming to an end to request any withdrawals with a bonus like that.

Edit: I have never looked at SBG Global in the past but when I clicked on their Poker link Pokerhost popped up. If they own or are linked to Pokerhost you should be okay. They've been around for a long time and always treated me well and paid me out over the years.

    Thanks for the advice guys.

I like that idea. Yeah they've been linked to pokerhost for years. I used to play poker back when it was on the merge network. Now it's on the winning network, which is the biggest poker network going right now, for american players.

While in almost all cases I avoid books/sites that are poorly rated by SBR if they own or are connected to Pokerhost then that's a good sign. I play on Sportsbook which is on Merge network like you mentioned for poker and use their book for great cash bonuses all the time. I've been paid max payouts on MANY occasions. That being said I'd still proceed with some caution but if you withdraw mid-season for NFL or keep balances low it's probably okay.

Yeah, I play with SBG Global. They are my favorite. I have been playing with them since the mid 90's. I've never had a problem with them. In fact, I think they are the most honest sportsbook out there. Just talk to any of the people that answer the phones. You can tell. I did take them up also on the 100% cash bonus with 2x rollover.

Thanks all for your insight and information. They were my personal favorite too back when I was a noob bettor, and gradually gravitated towards the bigger books but saw the poor reviews lately and had some concerns.

I'll probably throw a few hundred in there and take them up on their offer, and again, thanks again for all the advice, it helped a lot.

I'll probably deposit via bitcoin and make a bitcoin withdrawl every $1000 I make or so.

Just tried creating an account at SBG Global and they are no longer accepting USA players. Even if you use Bitcoin. Strange

Sounds like they may not be accepting "new" us players. I've seen other sites do that a long time ago.

He said new customers, that's true. I don't think it's cause for concern but it was strange to me

It's sweepstakes poker. Meaning they don't need a proven or accurate RNG for dealing. Each hand is a different sweepstakes. Silly concept. Just getting around the law because you aren't depositing onto the site to play poker. You are buying arcade tokens and given "sweeps" for free.

    Exactly.

So even though you can play for real money, do you think I should not play there?

If I remember correctly, they made me jump thru hoops to get to the roll-over requirement......many types of bets were not included in the rollover equation- very frustrating. Any place that offers bonuses that are above the norm should be looked at very cautiously cause they NEED THE MONEY!

Good point and yes I've seen that as well regarding the roll over requirements.

Have played there for 20 years without any issue. I would feel comfortable there with a low five figure balance personally. Ignore comments about them being a scam book, far from it. Like any longstanding book with that many years under their belt they've had complaints, but they are a reliable out.

what i really don´t like about them is, when you contact the support (live chat), they ask everytime your password even if you have general questions.

I've never had a problem there or at their sister BetNow. I really can't understand how they are not B+ at least (I know this will get me heat on these forums). I've been playing for years and I would gladly put in 5k for this offer (I'm no longer allowed to get this class of bonus due to cashouts). I challenge anyone to show a legitimate collection problem at these books. No, I don't work for them!
