    Vipsportsbook.eu and GGbook.eu Go Offline

GGbook.eu and Vipsportsbook.eu have suddenly gone offline and player funds held on accounts appear to be 'gone'.

John Flynn of Betballer.com and Johnflynnbookmakers.eu (both of which remain online) is reported to have been behind both sites and had engaged a pair of moderators from the Reddit /r/sportsbook forum to run the GGBook site.

    Here is what they claim has happened in a Reddit post on 6th July;

Hey, so this whole GGbook project has become a nightmare. Back in Oct 2016, I was approached by John @ Betballer to work on upcoming esports project he wanted to start. The deal would be to managing things/advertising/etc. for a pay of 15% of the site's profits split between Stander and myself each, while John and his 'investor' had considerable capital from various businesses they had in horse racing and the other Betballer sportsbook. Knowing that John and investor would be handling the risk/capital in exchange for our time/work, we agreed.

Up until this past week we were under the belief that things were operating as normal. Up until late May our site had not been profitable, and I had warned John about ensuring that he was good for the risks. He assured me that it was simply costs of starting up and that we'd see profits once we picked up more square action/traders wisened up and pushed us to continue. During the entirety of GGbook from the period of planning, contacting programmers/designers, advertising, building, managing the site, and dealing with bad support from traders customer service, myself and Stander were not paid a single cent by John. Not only this but putting our own reputations at risk, especially in this community, a forum where i had posted/created esports daily threads for two years every single day.

Bringing us to now, as of last week John and his 'investor' have decided to pull out the rug from under the table. We have not been able to make contact with him and had suspected something was up when we had last requested for the site's funds to be refilled for proper liquidty for normal daily betting/deposits/withdraws. As the pictures above show, we brought the issue up when we wanted to make sure people couldn't bet anymore. Stander and I personally floated our own money to cover some withdraws today, but obviously it's not enough given the pending balances owed at the current moment. At this time I have personally removed myself of any moderator priveledges/duties on this subreddit, as I feel at least indirectly responsible for dishonest actions taken by a site/staff/organization that I represented. I believe Stander too will be stepping down too as well. Given the situation, it has been over 72+ hours, and we are still trying to contact John regarding missing funds, unfortunately at this time outlook looks bleak and I am expecting the worst, but hoping for the best.

I also stepped down as moderator. That being said, I never ever used the moderator role to promote ggbook. While I of course understand my role made people "trust" the book more, that was never my intention. Obviously since everything went to shit, it looks terrible but neither of us ever had the intention to mix our moderator roles with ggbook.

I've always put /r/sportsbook above all and it has always been my intention to provide an open platform for people to discuss things exactly like this. That's my 2 cents and I hope that /r/sportsbook can continue on without me. As most know I was one of the most active mods here so I hope that either some other mods can step up or replacements can be found.

Do you guys have IRL contact info for John? Address or phone?

Unfortunately, the only address I know is from the info you posted in the OP already from the solocheck listing for HSB Sportsbook office.

As far as I was aware Vipsportsbook.eu was owned and run by John but it has disappeared too.

Their hsbsportsbook.com 'brand' site has also gone offline.

All sites are displaying a similar Wix 'not configured' default page.

For now Betballer and Johnflynnbookmakers remain online but John has proven uncontactable.

Probably a good idea to avoid. At least until the situation becomes more clear.

Optional, have you heard any more about Betballer? I have an acct there and want to make a deposit but not if there are gone or shady. I'm a US player and need a place to play Asian soccer wagers. use becoin.ag but can't always get enough money on a match. Any Thoughts? Anyone?

I had an account with vipsportsbook.eu and have been notified long in advance they would stop that service. My money has been transferred to a different Mollybet account months ago.

John just had a baby...he's not exactly uncontactable.

I used VIP Sports briefly, there lines were horrible, they tried to make you bet into lines where the favorite was always a half point high and the dog would will be the same as at other sites. The customer service people were not great either.

Are you a lying troll? Vipsportsbook.eu never had up any lines of their own and were always just a Mollybet agent.

I don't think he is a lying troll I just think he is talking about a completely different VIP Sportsbook than we are. I know there are several of them out there.

If you're going to bash something or someone you might want to be as accurate as possible.

Forget it Brett. This guy is not reasonable nor does he have any decent ethics. He will never apologize or even understand how he is wrong here

I hope your joking, all I posted was my experience with a VIP site that I thought was this site. Are you really suggesting I did something wrong because I mistakenly did not know that there are evidently 50 VIP sportsbetting sites. Making an innocent mistake does not mean you did anything wrong - you come across as a clown in every single post you make to me - I ALREADY ACKNOWLEDGED I may have MISTAKENLY referred to the wrong site in my previous post.

And don't question my ethics when you have nothing but your usual over the top bullshit and clown posts. I'm the one who pointed out how BMOC is a fraud and a liar, don't try and deflect by questioning my ethics.
