This Is My Issue With Bovada

I'm not going to run rough shot and act ridiculous.... if anyone knows me at this forum... I tell it exactly how things went down 100%. I don't exaggerate.

Unfortunately... the only way to get a response out of a book... you have to get SBR involved... or make a post on a forum. You can't have an educated discussion over a phone or through email. They disregard your credibility... and are nonchalant with their response.

    Here is my issue....

I just wanted to see how fast you could get a Payout from Bovada. Never got a payout from them before. I had a balance at around $2,500 at the time... and I tried to make a Bitcoin Payout Request of $1,000

I couldn't make a request via their website... because "apparently" for security.... they ask for your Mother's Maiden Name... (or you could put any code wording in there) It doesn't matter. Well... I gave the website the exact word I used.... and it was coming up inaccurate. Kept on saying... wrong word. I just rolled my eyes at the screen. Can't anything work???

So no big deal... it's just like any other book you have to deal with.... "always a damn issue" you can't make a few clicks to get your MONEY. Always have to play the merry-go-round right? Unreal.

So I call customer support and explain to the lady on the phone... what my answer should be... and she responded. I don't know what happened to your account sir? For some reason.... the answer is actually "Mother's Maiden Name". I said really? I added... well... that's not what I put. And I gave her the answer that it should be. She said... please make your request by sending an email to us... and give us your bitcoin address. I said... are you going to correct the problem so in the future this doesn't happen again? She said... usually when this happens we have to make a new account and delete this account... and shift over your balance etc. I said what???? I said... ok. Thank you for your time.

So I place the request exactly how the lady said to do it over the phone. 2 Days pass and I lost a few wagers and went under the $1,000 mark.... so then I get this reply. "We're sorry sir... your payout wasn't granted because of insufficient funds."

I responded.... that's perfectly fine. Did you correct the issue with my "Mother's Maiden Name" the security code on the account? The response came back.... your answer is "correct" on your account. That wasn't the issue. The issue is insufficient funds.

I only busted my keyboard a few times... because this is 100% ridiculous. I can assure whoever is reading this... I never had pending plays at the time of my initial payout request via Bovada online. The website would not allow me to make the request online.

Furthermore, Bovada sends me an email claiming that a Bitcoin Payout request takes 1-4 business days. Etc. Etc.

So, my point of this post is 2 things.

    1. Why did Bovada intentionally use this as a stall tactic?

    2. Why did one customer rep say the account needs to be deleted and set up again? Due to the fact that the "Mother's Maiden Name" wasn't entered properly on their end? Then another customer representative claimed... the security code was NEVER AN ISSUE?

I lost all my funds in the acct. Sh#$ happens. I told Bovada to delete the account.... and if I want to do business with them again... I'll make a brand new account so this issue doesn't happen again. They replied... sorry sir we can only disable the account.

Naturally, I may not want to do business with them again.

This is why I sometimes don't feel the need to wager offshore. There's absolutely ZERO EXCUSE on the way Bovada handled this. A payout request should be a HIGH PRIORITY... not to mention... if there is ANY ISSUE in regards to the acct for accuracy.... that to should be a HIGH PRIORITY. Nope.... just constant delays.

Thanks for sharing. It sounds like the initial call with the clerk sorted your mother's maiden name issue, even if you didn't get a clear explanation that that was the case, if the name matched after the call, it would suggest your issue was taken care of by a supervisor.

Please feel free to write in with your account ID to help@sportsbookreview.com and we can seek confirmation that your security question issue has been sorted out.

Go to Bookmaker. They have bitcoin and as soon as you make the payout request, they take the money out of your account. No more issues with "stall tactics"

    tldr
Once you are setup with KYC stuff it's painless. They even stopped asking for cc info when I'd use a new card (all bitcoin now). Only negative is 48 hour delay before Bitcoin payouts are processed, but weekends count, once got paid Sunday night.
IF things changed I apologize for not having time to read..

This is the dumbest thread I've read in a while. You think Bovada is intentionally stalling you?

You can criticize Bovada for many things (and they deserve some criticism they get), but payouts and/or willingness to pay out is not one of them. Myself and MANY others have gotten literally hundreds of withdrawals from them for much more than you requested, and it's very simple, fast, and hassle free. Place of birth and mothers maiden name are standard questions for security, I've had to give those every time. They do a lot of high volume with a lot of players. If you think they'd intentionally give you the run around for a lousy 1k, you probably think aliens are in your back yard.

Here's a tip for you, when you make a withdrawal request for $1,000, don't make wagers that will put your account under $1,000 while waiting the couple days for it to be processed. That's just idiotic. By the way, in your tale of woe, you had $2,500, made a request for 1k, and after a few wagers in a few days, you're under $1,000 in your account. So if this tale of conspiracy is valid, you lost over $1500 in a few wagers in a day or two. If you're betting that much on games, Bovada probably isn't where you want to be betting sports at anyway. They're a recreational book for recreational players. However, this whole drama filled story seems a little off center to this humble observer. Makes me wonder what the real reason for it is?

Indio - You have no clue in what you're talking about guy. Thanks for your rambling insight.

Thanks to SBR in helping me out. Finally it was resolved today. Bovada found out what was causing the error and was very helpful in resolving the matter.
