    Worried about Betus Payout
Hey guys, I've been lurking around here for a bit and I have a concern.

I started off as a small stakes guy, deposited $350 with BetUs, got a 100% bonus with 6X rollover.

Well I hit a bit of a lucky streak with 3-4 team parlays and went 7-1-1 with them. Turned my $350 into about $2,000. Then I started betting $500 on 3 team parlays every day for their maximum win amount of $3,000. Now, a month after I deposited my $350, my account is worth a little over $11,500. So I try a payout. Nope, gotta keep my account for 2 months before I can request a payout, and they need all sorts of documents.

So I send my documents then call to make sure they received them all. The lady tells me my signature doesn't match from my drivers license to my credit card verification form. They look almost identical to me. I hang up on her and call back. The guy I get tells me that all documents are in good shape and I just have to wait my 2 months.

So I start researching around on Betus and find SEVERAL complaint threads. Now I'm getting really worried. Can you guys update me on just how reliable they are, because a lot of the complaint threads are from 07, and I'm hoping they've gotten better. My plan is to withdraw $5,000 twice (thats the max withdrawal amount), but I'm getting ready to expect problems.

Also, I've seen that if you fill out some sort of form if you're having problems with one of the companies, a mod around here will help resolve the problem. Can I ask what the mod's motivation is? And how do they help? Do they threaten "hey if you guys don't straiten up, our site is gonna lower your status" kind of stuff? Or what is their method?

Hey Chill, guess ya gotta chill, man.. HAHAHAHA BetUs has always paid me in the past. I'm no tout, or shill or anything else like that just a degenerate. hahaha. Anyways, yea they will pay. You shouldn't have to wait TWO MONTHS..but you'll get paid. Talk with a manager or something and see if someone else can be a little more responsive.
With the mod helping you resolve problems I'm not too sure of that. Never had to deal with SBR's complaint forms yet. *Crosses fingers*
Hope this helps ease your mind. I know how it feels having to wait but take my advice. Talk with a manager, if that doesn't help then wait a couple more days and talk with them again. If still nothing, or they start to give you an attitude then guess you have to do what you have to do. Take care. Hope this helps.

That does ease my mind a lot. Have they been fast on payouts or longer than the 10 business days they quote to the general public? I'm just worried cause the money I'll be taking out will be almost 100% profit and I don't think they'll like it very much.

Edit: And yea the 2 month thing is a bit ridiculous, but when I signed up, they told me I have to wait 2 months to take out any money if I want the bonus and I agreed so its my problem. Do you still think if I talked to a manager, I could get it sooner?

When I first found SBR two years ago-----BETUS scared the shit out of me.

Interesting, because when I wanted to take my first payout I was told that I had to make $500 in wagers before I could make a withdraw. What I wanted to do was test out their payout integrity before I really did any gambling. This said, I made some good NFL playoff pics. I upped my original $200 deposit to $500. So after meeting their wager requirement I wanted an EFT/wire transfer, this is where the headaches began. After many phone calls I discovered that my bank doesn't have an international SWIFT or BIC code so no bank wire. At the time I didn't think that a courier check was the way to go, just had a bad feeling about them. So in the meanwhile I had a couple of losses on the Cavs during their short losing streak, and after these losses I was like F&*$ it, it's time to cash out. So I requested a payout in the form of a courier check. Turns out it's $40 dollars for a courier check, that being the case I broke even. (No harm, no foul). My check did arrive in 7 days. So I did get my money, but I'm still pretty disgruntled by BetUS and after becoming a member of SBR it turns out there are much better books out there. I haven't wagered with any of those "A" books yet but I look forward to doing so. Good luck man...

Yea, I'm kinda pissed its gonna cost me about $150 (I think its $50 per payout X 3 payouts cause they only allow the $5,000 max) to get my money out.

                Shameless book promo....

Since I joined SBR I have had three books...BetJam, Phoenix, and 5Dimes----all solid. Payouts within hours, and great customer service.

I've requested a payout of 1k about 2 weeks ago but keep getting delayed. I'm an AUS customer which I know takes longer. I've filled in the forms and waited.

But now I find that the money has been returned into my account.

Trying to get in contact with them is hard with the time zone difference.

Will be interesting to see what the delay is.

Being in AUS makes it hard to deposit and withdraw from any of the A+ books. They all want passports, licenses and all sorts of stuff.

I don't have or need a passport at the moment.

I did something similar a while back. 60 day hold is normal and I'm sure they told you upfront about this....they certainly did when I was wagering. You will get paid I did. Wires from them. 5000 each... I still play there but I NEVER TAKE A BONUS. They suck and there lines are horrid. I only bet props there limited now to 400 was 750 in the past.....once and a while. Don't worry you will get paid. 3 team parlays are not somehting a sharp wagers on so I would say 99.99% chance you get paid. GL

I had an awful experience with betUS last month. I had met all cashout requirements so I made a moneywire transfer for the balance of my account (decided I wanted to move my $ to a more reputable book).. when the transfer hit my account it was $40 less than what it should have been. I called them up and the rep was very unprofessional, and after I gave her my acct # she said "so you're calling about an incomplete payout". I asked "how did you know that," she stumbled over some words and gave me some BS how she has been doing this for so long that she can tell what people are calling about just by the tone of their voice. She was so rude I needed to have the call escalated, and then the supervisor ws just as bad, he several times poker fun at the fact I was pissed over a mere $40. They insisted I sent them my bank statement, I insisted they were insane for thinking I would send my bank statement to a bunch of crooks. Scam artists.

I tested them out and they cancelled wagers on me prior to events after large line movements.

They are SCUM. Get your money and stay away.

Now that I've closed out my account they are regularly sending me mailings & e-mails, kissing my ass, even offering me a $50 free play. If they would have just showed me better customer service and hadn't jerked me around as far as my payout I'd still be a playing member of this book...

                                            Update on my Payout.

The reason I was given was that my BetUS Account name did not match my bank account name. This would be fine if that was the case!

The only criteria that didn't match is that on my BetUS account its my FirstName Surname, where as on my bank account they have my Middle Name in there (FirstName MiddleName Surname). This was enough to cancel my payout and start again.

Sounds like delay tactics to me.

Never had a problem with them, they payed me out quickly and with no delays, not sure what previous poster was saying about horrid lines, they have great lines, especially on John Morrison games, half pt. off market in many cases.

Think whatever you want. I have made thousands from BetUS with their off-market lines and they paid me quickly, just my experience, dont have any reason to lie, do what you want with it.
