They are competitors. Just like Mcdonald's wouldn't share their recipes with Burger King, I don't think MoneyGram and Western Union would trade info.

No, why would they share info? They are 2 different companies that offer the same service. If you own a cardealership will you share your info about rich and wealthy customer with another cars dealership?
