I haven't heard too much about BetOnline on these boards. They are rated B+, but for people who play there, how do you like/dislike them? How are the cashouts? Any opinions would be appreciated.

#2i like them for my second half wagers on college basketball. no delays. also use them for some team totals in football, although they stopped offering these at the end of last year for first and second half wagers. have had no problems with payouts. they have 1 free payout a month i think you have to call on a friday not sure. havn't tried using the rewards system they have yet, am around 350,000 points., which i think is about 3 grand in free play. saving for a rainy day. hoping they start offering reduced juice or more props as they are a bit weak now on options.Comment -

#4Their new marketing guy Alex came in here a few weeks back with alot of fanfare abt how everything has changed for the better and new people are running the place, etc etc. So far, that has been all hype.
No ewallets have been added and no book2book has been offered. I was really surprised that the B2B thing wasn't accomplished. Everybody in the business knows a guy who knows a guy. Would think it's a few phone calls in the afternoon to get this set up.
This place has a shady history (do a search), but if they could address player concerns about money movement, they would/could step up a notch. Their rating here has always been "curious" at best. Consider them a C+ book and you will be abt right.Comment -

#6Nope, still no ewallets nor book-to-book transfers at BetOnline. Sorry.
We are focused exclusively on the US market (although we can also take Canadian play as we can process their credit cards/**/**/bankwires and pay them) so our payment processing options are catered exclusively to the US. Hence no ewallets. I understand the owners position but don't share it, but then they pay me so I can only advise and encourage.... Nor are they at this time interested in supporting b2b transfers. Silly, I know, but Rome wasn't built in a day.... outside of this bboard, NO ONE has asked for a b2b transfer.
But I'm steadily working on BOTH so MAYBE by kickoff. Big maybe.
BetOnline has never been connected to any crime family. Previous stakeholders in the firm have had issues in the past in the US for US-based activities not connected in any way to BetOnline. BetOnline is licensed in Panama to take your bets on sporting events; we're a post-up shop primarily catering to square bettors but no longer afraid (as previous owners were) of sharp action.
We have some software development to do before we unleash our vision of a low juice book; the desire is there, the stage is ready, but some other fires to put out first. It would be a separate brand I reckon--you'll hear about it here first.
We have made myriad changes in policies which you'll see in consistent times that the lines come up, and stay up, in payout processing, and in limits. Lots of good players were chased before--we welcome them back. And we welcome all North American-resident players. Unfortunately we cannot support non-NA players at this stage as noted above.
If nothing else: watch this space.Comment -

#7Wasn't intending to dog you out, Alex, just wanted to lay out the shortcomings. AND i was happy you guys are at least acknowledging there might be a few players in Canada who could be interested in your place. Hard to believe the Canada players are not interested in b2b.
I got to admit I like your candor/schtick and hope you can influence ownership to cater to players. I did do some line gazing for a few days 2 weeks ago and was very pleasantly surprised at your opinionated college lines. No vanilla was there. lolol I can't say if they could be had by your sharper players, but they were certainly listed as available.
I still wish you good luck and encourage the obvious changes and the new reduced offering.Comment -

#9, SBR helped me out from them about 2 years ago(roll overs-requirements)- hope this info helps.
Summary, Im happy not playing there anymore. Theres far better sportsbooks IMO. Sad, because their prices on MLB was good
But without bonuses its probably a decent place.Comment -

#10We met with BetOnline a few weeks ago. The old direction of BetOnline was good but they started to get bogged down trying to managing each player. The approach now is to let player friendly policies dictate outcomes and it should be smoother especially for sharp guys.
Now, if BOL can cut out the rollover on free-play bonus winnings policyComment -

#11i used to use betonline, and in 07 went on an incredible run/baseball. payouts were fast, service was friendly. i was cashing out 1500 a day moneygram for a couple of weeks and took a 7500 check which arrived in 3 days. I ask my rep if he could do a book to book and he said no. I told him that surprised me and would save us both a lot of hassles on moneygram. It took a day, but they agreed and transferred 5k into betjm. I pretty much quit useing them when the 105 and my betpoints got taken away, but they really seemed like good people and most importantly they paid.
I would probably consider using them again.Comment -

#12Bull D. and Bob g. if they could really handle some transfer to Oly--they would see a spike in business. As for the rollover policy, skip the bonus and enjoy the good lines.Comment -

#14I tried to give Alex my business because they were going to match bonuses but that was a joke. They matched it once and then it went from 100% to 45% and then to 10% but you dont find that out until after you deposit and its too late. Dont trust a word they say. They send you emails making you think you will get a certain bonus but not even close. LIAR LIAR PANTS ON FIRE.Comment -
