Each book has a different set up. It depends on where you play. Generally speaking, you can get more action at the big books, like the Hilton, or Caesars Palace, than the smaller books. MGM-Mirage has also become a bit tight lately. The bottom line is this. It depends on who you are. If you want to make a wager higher than the maximum posted amount, just bring cash, or be able to prove you have that kind of money and march yourself into the credit office that each casino has.
