I have placed a bet with Betsafe today on Basketball Euroleague women Spartak Moscow Region-Fenerbahce (total points over 148,5). the final score was 90-79 and this is the official results - http://www.fibaeurope.com/cid_KNce8j...1.teamID_.html
they decided to cancel my bet even if the result was correct due to the fact that they had the wrong home team. (they put the first team Fenerbahce even if the match was playing in Moscow, but the odds were correct).
i got in touch with them via live chat. This was their answer:
" Our odds compilers have made a mistake but you must see that is the issue as well when you make the bet and inform us of this. this is the way it is, all bets were cancelled, and not just yours. this is what our odds compilers have chosen to do in this situation. "
They keep claiming that this is their right based on their terms and conditions and they are invoking this part:
"3.17 Betsafe.com reserves the right to deem bets void if there are changes in the venue/arena of whereas an event will take place."
Firts of all, this is not a part of the terms and conditions that they are asking you to agree in the moment that you create the account with them. Second of all, i think that none of the situations presented here are not valid for my case, because the place where the game was played didnt change and it was only their mistake. They didnt wanted to take the responsability for this.
