Several years ago I made a tiny deposit at BetUs to check them out, despite all of the bad things I heard. (The deposit was no more than $500.) They immediately switched me to a different line set after I made my deposit, before I could even place my first bet, and despite the fact that my bets weren't ever more than $100 or $200, I was very quickly put on a lengthy delay, at least 60 seconds if not 90 seconds. After I busted, I didn't have any intention of redepositing, but Justin7 said they've improved so I decided to try them again, and made a very tiny deposit there.
Nope, no improvement at all. I was offered a 100% freeplay bonus and told to contact the CS person directly. 6 days and 5 emails later, I have yet to get a reply or my bonus credited, so I suppose I'll have to call them up to get it. And they still are complete wimps about taking bets. I noticed a decent soccer line this morning, they had -125 when Pinnacle had +123 on the opposite side, so I tried to bet my remaining balance on it ($40.) Nope, "the line has moved to -130," then "the line has moved to -140." And the line wasn't actually moving at all, their odds on that particular spread were a bit out of line with the other spreads they were offering on that game. And that nonsense or a freaking $40 bet! I can understand that some books want to be "recreational only," but someone who deposits $200 like I did and is betting tiny amounts is the definition of "recreational." If you can't deal a 30 cent soccer line without putting a $40 bet on a 60 second delay, you have no business bookmaking.
Needless to say, I won't be redepositing there after my $200 balance eventually goes bust.
