#74If someone is stealing passwords or IPs, then it most likely would be a rogue current/former BetPhoenix employee. But the employee wouldn't benefit from unloading people's money in the casino, unless they're disgruntled and want to give BetPhoenix a bad name. If BetPhoenix wanted to steal money, they wouldn't do it like this.Comment -

#77not really sure if there is a point. there is no way in the world I can prove that the games were not played from my IP address as they have all the information. I will probably try but first I will sleep over it for few days. I am still placing some hope in Richard even not that much and he is coming back on MondayComment -

#78Here is what really throws a red flag up in the air. If I read your account right, there were 75 "hands" (I am assuming that they are talking about rollos of the dice) played in 8 minutes. As a professional gambler, I can guarantee you that this is nearly impossible. You would have to make one wager and lose it immediately for this to happen. It takes a few seconds to place a wager and roll the dice. 8 minutes is 480 seconds. That means that a wager would have had to been made, the dice rolled, and the outcome determined once every 6.4 seconds. The only way this could have been done is to make the same wager comsistantly, and lose every wager. I have never seen this done, nor have I ever heard of it. This is blatent fraud. One other question. I am a bit of an expert in blackjack. When whoever was playing hit the "soft 20's" did they double down, or did they just keep hitting until they busted. Notice that only 3 hands were played in 5 minutes, which is the exact opposite of what happened in the craps session. It appears that the person playing was a lot more deliberate. Even in Vegas, it takes about a minute or less to complete a hand. This took too long.Last edited by BigdaddyQH; 02-10-10, 04:07 PM.Comment -

#79There's always a database of passwords anywhere you have an account. If there wasn't a database, the software would have no idea what your username and password is. The thing where "we can't access your password" only means that the password isn't easily accessible in readable form. In other words, if they have your username and password encrypted in a way that I, as a clerk, can't read it, that doesn't mean a hacker couldn't somehow access the passwords.Comment -

#80You need to ask them very clearly:
"What was the IP used after 6:45" (or w.e the time was when you accessed your account). than ask,
"What is the IP addressed used BETWEEN 6:04-6:30" (or w/e the time frame was when your account was losing money).
If both IP's are the same and they can prove it, you are probably SOL.Comment -

"Diego: the games were played between 6:17 and 6:40:11". He also verified the IP address from where the games were played. I think that this is the whole issue. He is claiming that he did not play the games. All Diego is saying is that SOMEONE using that IP played the games from 6:17 until 6:40:11, which was before the account was frozen.Last edited by BigdaddyQH; 02-10-10, 04:16 PM.Comment -

It seemed this has happened to a few other players, you guys should get together to approach BP. Many of you will be able to present a better case than an individual.Comment -

#90I just called BP. I have an unfunded account there. I talked to Wendy, who then transfered me over to Gigi. Here is what she said in a nutshell. I told her that I was thinking about funding my account, but was concerned about reports that people had made about losing funds in the casino when they did not play in the casino. My question was very simple. How many of these reports has BP received.
I will sum up her conversation. Some of it is really hysterical. First, she accused the person making this report of being a drunk. Then she said that a lot of people do not have computers, so they go to the library and forget to sign off. She then said that I have been a customer with them for a long time and never have had a problem with them. This is true, because I NEVER funded my account. Then she said that she checked around, and her coworkers only knew of one complaint. That was from a "russian" guy. She said that she did not know the actual number of complaints received. I then asked her if I could speak to someone who would know that number, because I was very concerned about identity theft. She continued to make small talk, but never connected me to someone who knew the answer. The one thing that tipped me off to the fact that there may be bigger problems than they will admit to was when she told me how much she liked me because of my screen name, which I used when I initiated the conversation. That is going a bit overboard, IMO.
Form any conclusions that you like guys.Comment -

#96I do not know how SBR can allow such a book to have such a good rating. Or promote a company like this.
Sounds like Carlos is avoiding your questions and always ends up repeating himself over and over on shite you allready know. He did not seem very helpful to try to get to the cause of the problem. just kept avoiding the answers to "youre" questions. Sounds very likely that they are in the wrong. This tells me one thing, they are guilty! and just being very difficult about it. You definately need to file a complaint and have this matter investigated with some form of higher power.
My neighbour did this crap to me about a livestock fence, lol. his cows broke "our" fence and trampled my lawn. he tried getting me to repair it.lol he kept bringing up how "the person that used to live in my home(20 yrs ago) would have gladly fixed it.lol i dont even own livestock. I aint no sucker. Made a few phone calls and voila he was out fixing it the next day.
I guess quiet a few ppl in the industry saw that BP's warning signs.

They advertise books americasbookie ,bet33,
legendsportsbook.com that has same colors as a Legends clearly to trick the players
with a promo $500 for $500
from SBR New player victim to sportsbook impersonator
Player: After hearing about how good Legendz was and that you gave it an A+ rating I decided to join. I went to LegendsSportsbook.com and sent 250 bucks! It wasnt until 2 week later when i tried to get there from SBRlines did i realize they were two different websites! I checked the rating guide and realised a scammer has my money.
Robbie, formerly of defunct Apex Sports (SBR rating F) is operating legendsportsbook.com which has attracted bettors looking for the real Legendz (SBR rating A+). SBR has warned players since 2006 of LasPalmasSportsbook.com after readers reported depositing in what they believed to be LasPalmas (SBR rating B-). Bettors should also beware of OceanSportsbook (SBR rating F) and americasbookie (SBR rating F). Both are part of this network of scam sites.
Well if you wanna read more just go to SBR review there is plenty more stories .
So ************ my *ss .What a clowns .

#101You'd think BetPhoenix could find a better customer service person to deal with a complaint involving the equivalent of more than $10k. It seems to be like he did ask very clearly "which IP address was used at the time the games were played" and the CS clown must have given him 3 or 4 times the IP address he was using during the chat, which is irrelevant.
I had a minor inquiry to make with BP and wasn't getting responses to my emails (which ended up bouncing back as undeliverable) so I tried the live chat at a non-busy time, probably 11am PST, and it took over a half hour to get a simple answer. It's poor CS to have the time to call people constantly at all sorts of weird hours yet be unavailable for inquiries. My inquiry was very minor but in this case, the guy's complaint is pretty significant and BP is clearly blowing it off.Comment -
