Deposit with credit card to betjamaica is it ok

I made a deposit to BetJamaica just a little while ago and am curious why they said it is preauthorized, but I need to call them. Can someone explain why I would need to do this?

you have to call them or your deposit will never go through,i do not know why some books do that
