[Dispute] Sweatbet.io closed my verified account and confiscated 834 USD in winnings
    Hi all,
I'm looking for advice and, if possible, help from SBR staff with a dispute against Sweatbet.io. It is a crypto sportsbook operated by "3-102-944260 Sociedad de Responsabilidad Limitada", Costa Rica, with Anjouan licence ALSI-202601052-FI2.

    What happened
    - 17 Oct 2026: I deposited 110.29 USD in USDT. That was my only deposit.
    - 17 Oct to 5 Nov: the sportsbook accepted and settled 129 bets from me, mostly singles of 50-80 USD at odds between 1.4 and 2.1. Apart from one 10 USD free bet, which lost, no bonus was involved.
    - 4 Nov: I completed the KYC verification (status "Approved").
    - 5 Nov, 09:31: with a balance of about 946 USD I requested my first withdrawal, 546 USD.
    - 5 Nov, 11:56: the withdrawal was cancelled, the whole balance (944.43 USD) was removed by a "funds adjustment" and 110.29 USD, my deposit, was credited back. The account was closed permanently.
    - 6 Nov: I withdrew the 110.29 USD under reservation of rights. Sweatbet paid it out within minutes and disabled the account at the same time.

    What Sweatbet says
Their compliance email lists three allegations: exploiting pricing errors (clause 9.2), late betting and courtsiding (clauses 2.7, 2.9 and 2.10), and coordinated or syndicate betting (clauses 2.8, 3.1.6 and 4.4). The winnings were forfeited under clause 5.3. The email does not name a single bet, event or linked account.

    My position
    - All bets were placed by me, from my own account, with my own money. Most of them followed tips from tipster services. Other bettors can follow the same tips, but I have no arrangement with any other Sweatbet customer.
    - The clauses cited are general conduct rules (no illegally obtained information, no market manipulation, good faith, betting only on your own behalf, no collusion with other customers, one account per customer). None of them mentions late betting, courtsiding, syndicate betting or following tips. Clause 9.2 only allows voiding an individual wager placed at erroneous odds.
    - Clause 5.4 of their terms says that when they close an account, all funds are returned and matured obligations honoured. Only a breach (clause 5.3) allows them to withhold funds, and they have not shown one.
    - Their general Sports Betting Rules deal with pricing errors and late bets by voiding the affected bets; they do not provide for removing all winnings. 107 of my 129 bets had been settled for more than 72 hours when the balance was removed.
    - I have reconstructed my bets from the bet history and the transaction list. 53 of my last 100 settled bets were placed before the start time Sweatbet itself displayed; the rest were placed after it, on markets the sportsbook was offering at that moment.
    - On 5 November I sent Sweatbet a formal complaint asking them to name the bets and the evidence for each allegation and to send me my full betting history. No reply so far.
    - Sweatbet has returned only my deposit. I do not accept that as a settlement and I am claiming the full 834.14 USD.

    Amount in dispute: 834.14 USD.

I can send the emails, the terms and rules, the transaction list and the bet list to a moderator by PM. Has anyone here dealt with Sweatbet, and is SBR able to contact them?

    Thanks.
