Getting the most out of matchbook? help?

kind of a newbie question but i currently am funded at Matchbook and i mainly just use it to get the best prices, and i noticed that fishhead said in a post in a different thread that he spends 15 hours a day on matchbook. My question is what are you doing on their and maybe someone can help me get the most out of matchbook. Im also curious as to how other players here maximize their profits on matchbook.

Best way to make money 101 on matchbook: Set both side of the lines around -102/102 10 min before the game. Preferably televise game so you are sure you can get fast action. Start off small like 2% of your bank roll on each side, once one side is match raise the other side to 4% exposure. So your max exposure is 2%. Tapper off 2 min before the game to try to balance both side of the action out.

2. Arb games with other sportbooks. Matchbook line movement usually happen first. Other sportbooks fall behind. A 1-2 point change represent a huge value.

3. Arbing 2nd half lines: The time to set the right line for all book 2nd half is small 15min. One book might have extra exposure on one side, while matchbook might have exposure on the other side. This makes for great arb oppertunity.

4. Live betting ML. Use book like pinny and 5dimes to set your marker for how much to set each line. I.E. pinny has ML at +450/-550 you set the same line or a little better, +440/-560.
Also alot of times you will find alot of value betting live.

For those of us who are more focused on handicapping, finding value, and betting sides/totals, Matchbook often offers the best odds. It is certainly a very competitive out. Also, you are often able to find alternate lines that are more desirable than the primary posted lines.

Add: They cover most deposit in the form of comp credit.

Add 2nd: Their rating is going south. Think of the money you put in as a form of a loan. There are increasing likelihood that this loan might default. But until they drop to a C rating I am still playing there. (But reduced from 5 figures to 4.)
