Has Matchbook lost it?

#72It's been 4x at betjm and greek for nearly 2 yearsOriginally posted by FishheadI have transferred 4,000 from MB to BJ this year, rolled it over ONE time and then withdrew 3,000 FREE via FED-EX...........so this must be a relatively new policy with BETJAM.
I know OLY is now 4x........
By the way, I think the 4x rollover is a very good policy, to and from Matchbook..........keep the customers honest.
In fact, all of my clients have no problem with this whatsoever.Comment -

#75You could always bet the other side somewhere else...perhapsOriginally posted by blix177Guess I have 0 rollover requirement than.
I wish betting both sides would count to cover roll-over, but if this was the case there wouldn't be a need to have a debate on roll-over to begin with. With .01 spreads it would be very easy to cover in one turn.Comment -

#76I think people like you fail to realize that there are expenses associated with financial transactions.Originally posted by Dark HorseA 4x rollover for nothing but a deposit, despite of what some might say here, is definitely not normal. A 1x rollover for that is pretty much standard.
They did not refuse your business. They asked for a guarantee that you would give them the minimum amount of business required to cover their costs, and you were the one who refused to do business.
Would you be happy if they charged you $50-100 instead?Comment -

#77Chuck, as you know, I experienced the same issue as you and we are on the same page as far as how senseless it was for MB to refuse our deposits.Originally posted by Chuck SimsAs long as MB tells you at the time of the transfer that 4x rollover is required, I do not have a problem with that. I also do not have a problem with a case by case rollover requirement.
What I do have a pronlem is the denial of a deposit. I was denied the ability to add liquidity to their Heisman markets. Makes no sense. Even with a 4x rollover, they did not want my deposit.
The 4X rollover is a totally seperate issue though. They can not stay in business if they eat the expenses of these financial transactions (which are not trivial) and don't get business from the customer in return.
This poster has come out and said that he had no intention of wagering that much at MB, because he doesn't view them as a good book anymore. They clearly did the right thing in demanding a 4X rollover requirement for his deposit. He has no leg to stand on here.Comment
