    the greek
I am a long time use of the Greek. However I won't be playing there anymore. I have not received a bonus from this company for a long time even though I lost many thousands this year. I recently transfered $1000 from 5 dimes which by the way is my favorite book. They would not give me the 11% cash rollover yet they required me a 4 times rollover before I could transfer it to another friends account at the greek. This used to be a great place. After I roll over this money I will not be using them. For the record I qualify for a bonus as I have lost in the last 30 days and I have not had a withdrawal in sometime. The lady saids I have not gambled enough in the last 30 days and is using the clause managment reserves the right to make final decisions. I am done with then after 10 years with them. Frankly there are so many better books that all offer bonuses. I will still use there sister book betjamica where I do receive bonuses.

the greek is place where you can place a large bet and get paid , they certainly aren't great for bonuses, and they have a stupid rollover for transfer, but i still consider them in the elite, 5Dimes is a great choice

Greek is a very good book.

I don't find the rollover on B2B transfers stupid. Before they had it, people were using them as a money transfer outlet and moving money there simply to withdraw because Greek is so much better at processing than other books. They decided to stop being a doormat and demand something in return for their services. I don't blame them.

I transferred the money in there for my friend who has a hard time getting money in there. I was trying to do an in house transfer where my friend would have gambled at the greek atleast 4 times. Its stupids and there are plenty of better books. If they want to force you to gamble 4 times they should atleast give you a bonus. Otherwise it should just be a single rollover.

SBR breaks down the books very nicely; the greek gets a P for professional, ie expect to get paid large amounts, thats it, while books like 5dimes and betjamaica have an R for recreational, ie expect to get large bonuses and booted/limited if you win too much (and paid if it is a good book)

          simple

This sums it up well, minty! I have gotten very few bonuses from The Greek over the years but was always paid large figures quickly. Early lines, variety, and large limits are the other pluses.

What is with you guys looking for bonuses? Why not just win money instead of having to depend on bonuses to survive. I can't believe the huge number of losers in here, crying about bonuses. Just make you wagers and win. It is really that simple. You guys can't survive without your bonuses.

                  Bigdaddy,

you obviously don't have a clue about long term winning. I have been doing this a long time and am quite successful. Last year was a rough year. I don't look for bonuses when I winning, but when your having a losing season bonuses help. I'm sure you never have a losing season and surely you handicap at a 70% win rate lol. The reality is this if they are going to make you roll your money over you should get a bonus. If they don't want to give me a bonus then let me transfer my money to my friend without rolling it over 4 times. Now get back to work for the greek.

It doesn't mean they suck, if they don't send you a bonus. Most bonuses have restrictions and I don't agree to take the bonus many time due to the restrictions. For some people bonuses with restrictions are a no no and wont accept it.

Marks, you are 100% wrong here.

Greek offers in house transfers to their clients as a customer service benefit and have every right to demand a 4X rollover if they so choose. If you don't like the terms, then don't do the transfer.

greek obviously is a fine book, but I kind of see Marks side here. I have learned over the years to never assume a book will do anything, so obviously the thing to do is tell them what your planning before the book to book transfer.

robertg is right on. If you want do anything but the absolute standard, email the book asking management to get back to you with what the details will be for anything unique. Best to know before you do it.
