    BetUS
    Quick question.

When I look for a line logged in it will sometimes be different then when I look at lines logged out.

    EX
    logged in
    Texas +5.5 V Alabama -5.5

    logged out
    Texas +4 V Alabama -4

    WTF?

MBenz, weirdly the OP seems to be suggesting it's the other way around: that it changed from 4 to 5.5 when he logged in. No idea why that would be.

BetUs is known for this in other arenas such as signing up with a certain "tout" system. I never heard of this being the case for anyone else, but it doesn't really surprise me. Something about that book all around I wouldn't trust unless they offer something that you can't find elsewhere. Nice software, and swimsuit calendars though

Yes they have you profiled as a favorite bettor and as a result they are giving you worse lines on the favorite.

Bet a few dogs and that will change in a hurry.

Yeah what happened was I accedentally started looking at lines logged out. Started typing in my wager amount for Alabama -4 then it said I had to be logged in to make wagers, I logged in and it changed from -4 to -5.5...so, then I started logging on and off and checking other sports.

The Notre Dame BB game two nights ago, logged off, BetUs was offering it at PK and when I logged in I got -1.5...Crazy.

In general, books don't update their homepage lines like they do their betting pages. It keeps people from scraping their lines.

That makes sense they just arent updating their lines to people browsing the site.

Hmmm, not so sure about that. If I were you, I would certainly be checking what the rest of the market looks like by checking with the Pinny and/or Bookmaker line for the same game and compare it to what BetUS is offering you.

Okay, I went to Covers.com, usually where I get all my info for games, stats and such.

They have a section on the matchups screen that shows lines from all over the web and vegas.

This just happened. Looking at NCAAB tonight with Xavier V Lasalle...

I was logged on and BetUS was offering Xavier at -4.5

On Covers.com it said BetUS is offering Xavier at -4....so is every other sports book on the web and in vegas.

Then I log off BetUS and check, and when logged out it says -4...I try again and log in and it says Xavier at -4.5.

                            This is odd stuff man.

They have different lines depending on how they profile your betting style like smitch124 said. My roomate and I bet one way on my account and the other way on his account to make sure we get the best odds on the side we want to bet.
