your friend probably quit because he was probably doing something stupid.... honestly, 5dimes is great book for small time bettors..... they have more betting options then any other books.... they pay you quickly... their customer service is decent depending on who you talk with...

I find their customer service reps to be rude, but they had been a pretty good book in my experience.
