Hedging against sportsbook rules?

So the other day I was reading through the terms of a bonus and it said you cannot hedge a parlay on the last leg and take the opposite team. I know this was a bonus and I see the difference but I was just wondering if a book can get you for hedging other times?

Why would you hedge or buy the other side at the same book? It makes zero sense and the book in most cases will not like it.

Normally your best hedge bet is found at Matchbook . No need to show your hand at the Book you're beating, IMO.
