    When does 5dimes cut limits....
When does 5Dimes start cutting limits.?

    - When you request a withdrawal

    OR

    - When you start winning big.

I am about to make a large deposit to 5dimes after reading some positive reviews here...but I don't want my limits cut before I make any large winnings. Please post your experiences. Thanks.

If they see you winning in one sport or catagory props or something they dont even have anything to do with ie third party blackjack they will cut you.

When you start at 5dimes, don't take any sign up bonus or else your Reduced limits will be set at $50 rather than $500. After that, don't chase steam, or else you will be cut to $50 on the Reduced numbers. Those two are virtual guarantees. After that, if you show any sign of actually knowing what you are doing, rather than just being on a hot run, you probably will be limited on their Reduced numbers to $50, but that might take a while and you will probably be able to take a few payouts before the big man upstairs decides enough is enough.

Interesting. I've got a pretty nice baseball system that I was hoping to play most of my action at 5Dimes this year because of their dime O/U lines. I'd hate to get cut somewhere in June.

I got my limits cut and a cursing out from Tony when I hadn't even won very much, he just told me that I had to "stop beating him to his fukken lines" but I was actually originating, not betting steam. (The sports I was betting were obscure enough that I don't think there's even such a thing as "steam" in those lines.)

Like most books who limit you, I don't think its got much if anything to do with how much you've won. If you are consistently taking top prices you are a marked man. I was very severely limited after two bets at one UK bookie despite the first having lost and the second undecided at the time! They accused me of arbing! I never waste time trying that caper. This is a real problem for those punters who follow a popular tipping service. Bookies don't like laying a sudden heap of bets at the top price.
