    Fraud Call From Wachovia
Made a $20 deposit at a sportsbook with my **** Debit Card through Wachovia. One minute after the deposit, I get a call for possible fraud from Wachovia. I confirm that I made the transaction and they go ahead and confirm it. I call Wachovia back after that and they tell me that specific questionable transactions can be flaged. Has this happened to anyone else?

Should I be concerned or consider this a dead issue and nothing will happen further? Any opinions would be appreciated.

Yes, I've had it happen a few times. Nothing to be concerned about at all. In fact it's a good sign that the banks are monitoring unusual transactions to protect themselves and their customers.

Yeah they're just making sure you authorized the transaction. Nothing more, nothing less.

banks tryng to protect themselves as well as customers. I know of people that use their bank cards and credit cards to fund, then after they lose become pissants and call the banks and say they never approved the transaction. can't blame the banks for covering their backsides...

That's a good point I never thought of that, but now that you mention it I am sure it happens frequently.

My bank has notified me that I may not use my debit card or checking account for online gaming purposes. It is a medium-sized local bank (15 branches all in Atlanta). Western Union/Moneygram for me......

Probably because Sportsbook.com uses places such as lo-pay or whatever which the location shows in Korea.
