it's an asian handicap

you get half your bet at -2.5 and half at -3

A ton of Pinnacle's soccer odds are like this.

-.5, -1

etc.

half the bet is at one line and half is at the other. It's when they want to have a line in between the half and the full. You can also write it as Giants -2.75.
