    Has any one ever been to a las vegas sportsbook and seen sports commentators,celebrities or former pro athletes laying money on a game before ?

    i woudnt bet my life on it,but when i went to the excalibur a month ago i belive i was sitting a row from john kelly.iwas in the sportsbook with the family watching the usf and west virgina.

      i have seen this happen in vegas but i'm not going to name who it was for fear of retribution.

      at potawatomi in milwaukee i have seen lou piniella a bunch of times playing the horses, we don't have sports betting here so he couldn't get into trouble that way...

        I have seen Lou Piniella here in Chicago at a place called Stretch Run in the River North neighborhood.........he had a private room with a few other people and was betting the ponies

          I saw JayZ put $100,000 on the Giants ML for the 2008 Super Bowl, was at the MGM in Vegas.

              How does that have to do with anything though? Hes just a new york fan obviously...Dont think that 100K would have hurt him had he lost.

                Saw Tom Tolbert at the MGM sportsbook during March Madness two years ago. Don't know if he actually placed any bets, though. But why else would he be there?

                        The numbers are huge. Go into Caesars, the Mirage, MGM, or any other numbers of hotels and you can always find a celeb or sports figure wagering on a game, a horse, or a table. I have seen dozens of them,and have not seen a winner out of the lot. Milwaukee Mike, why would you fear retribution form a sports figure gambling in Vegas? It happens all the time. If anything, they are the ones who have to watchout for retribution.
