i try it once when i started in betting, and was quicly caught, it was in Bwin, but since i lost all my money in both accounts they let it slide and afther that still give me a recreational bonus of 10euros or so; It is not worth the trouble all bookies will see in your Ip adress or payment that you have double accounts and will take all your money (normaly it is in the rules)

In response to the OP, I have never opened more than one account at a book, but I have been in a few grey areas.
For example I have an account each with Coral and Eurobet, similarly PartyBets and GameBookers.
