Hi,
I'll explain what happened to me at 5Dimes yesterday.
I been customer of 5dimes for more than 5 years, and usually I bet soccer and tennis mainly, without a single complain of them. Till yesterday.
Yesterday, I was going to place a bet on champions league soccer matches, and Asian Handicap lines where offered also for the parlays.
I placed a parlay, and one of the lines was the match Rubin Kazan - Dinamo Kiev.
I matched Rubin Kazan pk, -1/2 (pk means draw-no-bet at 5dimes), Obviously the odd was lower than if I would have matched Rubin Kazan straight win.
My surprise came when all the parlay was settled as lost because this was the first match to be played, and the outcome was a Draw. In other betting sites, read Pinnacle, when you place a parlay with an asian handicap line like the one I'm talking about, they split the parlay in two parlays, one with R. Kazan pk, and the other one R. Kazan -1/2. In this case, half of the parlay would be lost, and half stay with the pk being void or tied. If not, what's the sense of accepting lower odds if the result of the parlay is the same if the match is a draw???
I contacted CS via chat, and one agent called Monica (she didn't has any idea of Soccer I think) told me the parlay was lost because the only winning line was a DRAW on this match, and the 5dimes rules are, "all the individuals of a parlay must be won or tie for the parlay to run.
She told me also "you like the rules when they go with you, and you don't like them when they go against you", "you should not bet if you don't understand wagering". I explined her how those kind of bets work at Pinnacle, and she told me "we are not Pinnacle, we are 5 dimes, we have our own rules" without ever understanding what was my concern.
Lately I contacted back them, and a friendly CS specialist called Pete take my concern.
He agreed with me that something was wrong with this line, and he told me that the wagering system had a glitch that allowed me to place an Asian Handicap line in a Parlay, but this is not allowed at 5dimes, "Asain Handicap cannot be parlayed".
As some other lines were lost on the parlay, we agreed the bet should not be void.
Conclusion,
1.Take care if Asian Handicap lines are offered to you in parlays at 5Dimes, they don't work, just straight lines and spreads work there, even if they are allowed to you. They will be settled as lost.
2.CS service at 5Dimes shouldn't have people like "Monica" who makes feel the ones who are paying her job feel like sh*t, withouth having idea of what she is talking about. CS should take care of this, 5dimes always has been famous cos of their awesome CS service
Take care
