    Walmart moneygram denied
Walk in to send some funds offshore scary Walmart customer service lady who is coughing and hacking up a storm tells me she does not feel comfortable sending money for me. Says moneygram gave her permission to deny people. Really wierd I just walked out not causing an issue drove to the next one and sent it.

It was only 300.00 and I have not sent one in about a month. Strange shit.

    Either:
    1) She did not know to send it, and didn't want to go get someone who could do it.

    2) Shewas about to go on her "break" and you were going to screw that up.

    3) Just flat out didn't want to do it, so she gave you that lame excuse.

Basically she was just lazy and didn't want to do her job. Hell I have sent 3K before using Moneygram(gold-pay then to Matchbook) and never had a problem.

I had a weird experience at WalMart a few weeks ago as well. I received a check from Bodog and went to Customer Service to have the money put on a WalMart moneycard (the more you can avoid banks these days, the better, imho). The customer service lady took the check and asked me what it was for. . .I wish I could say I gave a great, smart-ass answer, but I told her it was a rebate check. She then asked me what kind of rebate it was. . .once again, the great answer from me was "auto." She then told me that she was declining the transaction because it wasn't a payroll check. It seemed to me that if that were true, she would have said that in the first place. I got the hell out of there and went to the bank, where I had no problem.

I thought it was just a weird situation, but hearing about what happened to Wisky makes me wonder if WalMart is being more careful and are training people to watch out for gaming transactions?

I was just thinking the same thing.

I can go down the street and play slots, ponies, poker and black jack but I can't make a wager on a professional sporting event. Unreal.

You are all going to have a prob sending money soon. I am blacklisted from ** because the amounts I have sent and received offshore and also moneygram doesn't go through all the time. Local action is soon going to be the only option. My local just closed up, I now can't send to offshore and have no local. Sucks.

I was denied recieving a ** payout a couple weeks ago. Ive used ** maybe 4 times in the last 3-4 years. ** customer service is worse than any of the books out there, after about 6 calls, I finally got them to tell me that either my name or the senders name is on the ** black list. They wouldnt tell me which one it was. Im afraid this is going to start happening alot more in the coming weeks.

It's truly scary. Now you have people tell you whatyou can and can't do with your money. This country has become more Russian than Russia. We've become what we depised for the last 92 years.

I went and tried to cash a check from a book a while back and the lady was like "do you know where this check came from?" and I got irritated and said ''no i don't , I ust have random people and companies write me checks all the time, guess I am lucky." she countered with a comment about how if it were a fraudulent check then my account would be shut down and all this shit. So, then I asked her is she was asking if I was a sucker then. She got defensive and nice after that because I was getting pissed. Point is, it;'s my ****ing money and I am a grown ass man!

Call MoneyGram and ask them if they have those MoneyGram stations where you send the money using an ATM like machine (in my area they have some inside some 7 Eleven)http://www.cspnet.com/Media/Publicat...ygram200_0.jpg. This way you don't have to put up with some lazy workers and their ocasional mistakes, and this way you can send money on Sundays too. Also I think you can do it online if you set up an account.

Nice how those tellers with double digits IQ are trying to protect us. They are not even able to give you the correct change without the cash register telling them how much they owe.

This way you don't have to put up with some lazy workers and their ocasional mistakes, and this way you can send money on Sundays too. Also I think you can do it online if you set up an account.

Wow. I know Moneygram itself has some security checks, but the Walmart Lady? I sent $500 through Moneygram's online website. I put my account number on the notes, and they froze the transaction. When I called in they grilled me on if it was for a business purchase. I said no a friend, but then they were like what the code was for in the note? Well I start stuttering up a storm and acting a fool. But in the end she was like "okay...whatever"
