Bwin sponsors just about everything. It is a relatively very big European bookie with a lot of early odds (lowered limits) and decent live betting (sportsman streaming package). Their idea of running a book is, to have only biggest retards on the planet on the site, so they apply heavy limits and close accounts very fast. I would not call them a bookmaker, they are more... I don't know, I'm looking for an expression... it is not really meant to be a place where you go and place a bet. It is meant to be a place where you go and give them money. Or else they show you the door.
If you don't care about winning, if you are losing money, then I guess it is a very good place to be. They will offer good entertainment value for the money you leave them.

You will get a payout. When they close account, they transfer all your money from where it came. Their credibility is not a problem. Their problem is only that they imagine their smartest long term customer to look something like this:

I actually really like BWin. Better lines than you might first think, good range of markets for a Euro-facing book, useful loyalty scheme (unlike Partybets' new improved scheme!) and they've let me keep playing with them on US sports much longer than Bet365 and some other books that are quick to boot if you're betting markets not within their core area of expertise. It does take a couple of days to get a payout, which is annoying, but there are still other books over here that are slower.

Post your bad experience with them, I would really like to hear how your funds were at risk. I don't know anyone who would lose funds with them, please tell us your story.

I like Bwin a lot! Never had any bigger problems with them.
Payouts works smoothly, nice limits and high odds. Yes, high odds! I am using Bwin for surebetting and together with Pinnacle, Unibet, Expekt, Ladbrokes, Bet365, Betsson, Eurobet, Betway, Nordicbet and 10bet I am making a few thousand dollars each month.
Bwin = imo

I have never had money in Bwin for along period of time. I usually cashout when the bet has won.

Bwin sponsor both Real Madrid and AC Milan (Bayern Munich too).
They are very much a recreational bookie but have a very good range of markets. They have low limits but these seem to be market based rather than account based, so if you get in early enough you can get a semi-decent amount on.
For traders, Bwin often appear on arb lists because they are not shy about putting early odds up on more obscure European sports (volleyball, handball etc).
No payment problems whatsoever for me.

I had a Bwin account that I opened just before the French Open, by the end of the French Open my limits were cut right down so there was no point in continuing there, I withdrew my money and left.
There odds are also quite poor compared to other sites.
But, I should add, I did get paid, took around 5-7 days if I remember correctly.

Weather a bookmaker sponsors clubs, they will not have any control over a club taking a dive. This would take huge risks and clubs like Milan and Madrid play to win.

Bwin is not a bad bookie at all for european bettors, but their CS is very weak....
Good offer, large variety of odd types and events to bet on, very good live betting - but again, weak CS

Oh i see... they must have the balance or equal treatment even though they sponsored or something still
their cs is part of their company...
And whatever the performance they show it will reflect the whole company...

Bwin are no good or honest, they actually steal money from the winners.
I placed bet one month ago on Liverpool vs Lyonn, Lyonn was 1000% against 40% on Liverpool, so I placed 50EUR on Lyonn, because Liverpool had no defense what even my child could see from the beginning, they seem to me a weaker team so I just gamble for the reason of attractive 1000% bet on Lyonn.
The game finished 1:2 and Lyonn won, then I went to cashout immediately half of the money I won and left the half to play (tatal not counting this game I was even playing with Bwin for 4 months) more.
After I login, all looked fine so I logged out for this day.
By the next day my account and login didn't work, I had to contact customer service and after getting reply few days later (my current bookie replies in few minutes and I had 0 problems to deposit/withdrawal/cash winnings) I understood my account was closed for the reason I didn't exactly understand, because it was written security reason.
I logged to Bwin using 3 home computers which use the same internet provider, then I also logged many times using hotspots in a coffee shops and other locations, I don't know if that was the reason?
But all said I got only my remaining balance back, not the winning which I thought is not a big deal to Bwin.
Now when I read this horror stories about Bwin being a scam, I don't have any more questions.
