betus bankwire cost

can someone who has taken betus.com bankwire verify the cost w/ me?

i was charged 50$ fee for 5k w/d, actual money received by my bank is 4,954$. so in actuality i was charged 100$ish for 4.95k w/d, seems excessive no?

i understand that, however other bankwires from other books i was charged no more than 20$ for intermediary bank fees, therefore i was surprised at the 46$ fee charge.

people will bitch at me for being cheap, but its 130% markup from what i'm used to paying

Excessive yes, but BetUs are well known for only wanting to take deposits. They don´t post fees on their website but for bank transfers I have always been charged the higher of USD 50 or 2%.

My last withdrawal from them was by cheque which was supposed to be couriered (cost USD 40) but arrived three weeks later by regular mail.
