    Bookmaker live help problem/question
Yesterday I tried using live help for the first time while logged into my Bookmaker account because I had a question about one of my teasers. The live help operator asked for my account number and my password. I provided my account number but I refused to give my password.

From my experience gambling online on both poker and sports sites this seemed like a highly unreasonable spot to have customer service request my password. In fact the poker sites I play on (PokerStars and Fulltilt) specifically state that their customer service representatives will NEVER ask for your password.

I was not requesting any private info about my account nor was I making a withdrawal request. I just had a question about one of my teaser tickets and I was already logged into my account from the same IP I always use.

Is this normal for Bookmaker customer service to expect me to give my password just for asking a question about one of my bets? This might just be Bookmakers method of helping customers but it seems like an unnecessary breach of security. Any feedback would be appreciated, thanks.

I wasn't comfortable either at first giving them my password when talking with livechat. But eventually I gave in and give it to them to have my questions answer. Everything has been fine so far.

Thanks for the responses. It still seems like an unnecessary breach of security to me, but I'm glad to see that some employee wasn't fishing for my password.
