Major Skybook Withdrawal Issue

The worst part is that they were advertising Neteller as a viable withdrawal for months when it really wasn't.

Skybook offered free payouts to one player owed 5 figures after he was delayed. Hopefully they can honor it for others. In general if the book has an eWallet issue, it's fair to offer an alternative at the same cost but when it is an ongoing issue, and the book thinks it will just put big winners or "sharps" off the side, it's a valid complaint.

Might be a couple of things -
* Other books see them as risky
* The transfer traffic was always one-way outbound from Skybook and never balanced out

Seems that the book transfer option is mostly among the solid, top notch books. If everyone was using that as an "out" then Skybook would be owing the other places a lot of money. I would probably not want to extend that kind of credit either.

When other books wont transfer with a book, it's time not to play there in my opinion. I used to love Skybook. Not sending anything there now. If you can't pay via neteller OUS and you can't pay via book transfer, your odds of going under have to be 50%.

Here is an update on my withdrawal status with Skybook. I finally received a Neteller payment for $1,000 on Oct 1st, a little more than 10 weeks after requesting it. I was initially charged the withdrawal fee but it was reimbursed after I brought it to the attention of Mike at Skybook.
I received another $1,000 payment on Oct 6th, this time only having to wait 5 days.
However, contrary to what was told to SBR, "there presently is no fast track for Neteller transactions, unfortunately...No increase to the amounts is possible." So I am still stuck waiting for $1,000/transaction.
So just another $13,286 to go. What is the over/under on the time it will take be?
I will keep everyone updated on a weekly basis as to the status of further payments.

It has been another month since the last payment I received from Skybook. I am still owed $13,286.

On 9.24.2009, SBR reported:

Skybook addresses latest Neteller complaint
Skybook (SBR rating B-) has agreed to wave fees for this player's Neteller withdrawals. Skybook has also stated that the player's withdrawal would be "fast-tracked" by raising the amount he is able to request per transaction. SBR will update when the player has been paid in full. Skybook players waiting for Neteller payments are encouraged to contact SBR.

None of this has happened. It seems no effort is being made on their part to pay me. It has now been nearly 7 months since I began attempting to withdraw my balance from Skybook. I am still $50 short of even receiving my deposit amounts back. It seems the only times I am being paid are when SBR contacts them on my behalf. And, when I do receive payment, it is just a minimum amount to make it seem as if they are making some sort of effort. How much longer will it take to receive my balance?
Any help from SBR will be appreciated greatly.

They finally did allow me to do an ACH payout with them about a month ago (after every other reasonable method failed, being from the US). Luckily, I got all my $ out from there now so I don't have to worry about it anymore, but should look into the ACH withdrawals if they still have them, getting $4500 at once compared to $1000 sure makes things go faster!

You can get $2000 checks from Skybook now ($35 fee), but they only process check payouts on Wednesdays. Depending on when you put in the request, it usually takes 2-3 weeks to receive payment.

I tried to request a wire transfer today and was told "Bank wires are currently not being offered," despite still being listed on the website. They apologized for the website being wrong, but don't seem inclined to fix the false advertising. The only options I were given were **/** at 7% fees, not to mention I've had **/MGs rejected in the past.

I inquired about the ACH and check payments but were told (just a week after they were apparently done successfully) that they can no longer be done due to processor problems. I don't know if they are just giving people options selectively, or if they're having major problems and I should get my money out regardless of difficulty and cost. Advice would be appreciated.

Skybook use to be a great book 2 years ago... now it sounds like they are shaky and on thin ice...

you want to avoid hassles... Maybe you should just get your money and worry about the hassles later? I would take the bank wire or check option asap. I would do wire, but just me. Hell you can do it to an online bank account if you want...you could do a US bank account and then transfer it into japan that way...sure there are fee's..but they can't be that bad...

I have around 3 Dimes in there now. I requested a payout last Friday and it was ready Tuesday afternoon not to shabby. My last request was on Wednesday and they said it would be ready this after noon, both of these amounts were 1,000 dollars each through ** which is the max and only way they are paying out these days. In just a short while I will see if they come through again with the ** details for a 2nd str8 commendable payout.

skybook stiffed my buddy years ago and it was right before I was going to sign up with them, thhey got my bboy for like 7k if I remember correctly because his roomate had an account and placed bets from a completely seperate account at the same isp or whatever, just anything they could come up with not to pay u and they will. The only reason I was enticed to using this book is because they gave me a 100% FP on a deposit of 250 dollars, but so far they have treated me fairly well so not to many complaints. That is subject to change as we all know this book is underfunded.

If there's no complaints then what does that mean .................... Good news so far payments have been made but just are a little slower than I am use to. 1,000 ** payments are taking 7 days. 850 ** payments are taking 5 days.
