It seems like most books allow no credit cards. So how does someone like me go about depositing money with credit card.

Bookmaker and BetPhoenix are usually successful.

Maybe its the feds? Or it's some political tariff from other country's? Or, gasp, are money isn't worth #$%. That is a scary realization i had the other day. Maybe the dollar ain't worth ###$?

But this sportsforum won't talk about anything useful like that.

It's all about 'unit management' and 'who's gonna win tonight' like everybody doesn't already know that crap.

Certain banks cards don't work anywhere.

Try a debit card from a small bank.

Its quite ridiculous. I went to greek, matchbook, 5dimes and BEGGING them to take my $1000 credit card deposit and they wouldnt touch it with a 10 foot pole since I live in the USA.

Its not just the fraud issue either. I offered to send them credit card statements, photo ID, utility bills etc to prove my identity and they still wouldnt take it.

Its not the credit card rejecting the transaction either. I called them up beforehand and told them that I was going to be making a large (>$1000) transaction and they pre-authorized me so that it would go thru on any internet site. The bottom line is that very few books want to accept US credit cards, either due to the fraud issue or because the US authorities must be coming after them for violating US law, evne though all of them are based in South America and basically immune from any US jurisdiction.

Sportsbook.com is the only one I found that would accept large volume credit card deposits with no questions asked.

                    What he said.
My *small* bank debit card worked with my small debit card at BetPhoenix and Sportsbook. Of course I only use it for my ATM withdrawals and online deposits for SBs.

                      MY fellow americans, platoon, etc..

some books are starting to take credit cards. that's all i wanna say. once your in, you might as well keep quiet. probably the credit card company is blocking the deposit into the sportsbook. cuz you could deposit 1000 into sportsbook.com, bet it all on the ny giants, and if they lose, say 'i didn't authorize that', then its on the big credit company...
