    [Warning] Betplays.com Complaints
    I had a total of around 11000$ there, around 5000$ coming from deposits. I asked for a first withdrawal last week, got verified quickly, and was told this week that my winnings will not be paid due to violations of their terms and conditions.

    I did nothing wrong, but what can I do, I guess I made a stupid risk by depositing there... At least I would get back my deposits, because their email was only talking about my winnings. But now they also refuse to give me back my deposits, and they stopped to answer any emails.

    After a quick search on them I saw I was not the only one in that situation with them.

    They are based in Cyprus. I would highly appreciate if someone can tell me how I can do to at least try to recover my deposits. Stay away from them, despite their attractive bonus and great boosted odds... The risk is not worth it.

    I have seen a few complaints just like yours.

    This activity appears deliberate and there appears to be not much chance of reasoning with them.

    What exactly are they accusing you of?


    They are actually operating from Anjouan, which is an island off the African coast.

    Your only real course of action is to file a complaint with that regulator, which I believe does act on them.

    But they do ask for a lot of personal information with the submission.

    All disputes with an Operator whether they be about a deposit, a payout, a blocked account, any delay, and so on, should first be taken up directly with the Operator. These complaints must be filed using the form embedded on the site seal validation page of the specific operator. If no resolution is found, the ... Read more

          Good luck I really hope you can recover. That is a decent sum of money. I believe this to be the same group that operated malubit, adktinsbet and a series of others. If so I don't think you will have much success as all that was licensed was a shell. Their normal MO is to close up shop after 3 to 4 months, take a couple of months off and then open another operation.

          The only thing I see different here is that they are buying the domain names of previously existing sportsbooks to give the appearance of a long running operation.

            Thanks for the support. My hope is now on Anjouan Gaming. They give licenses to a lot of sportsbooks, they seem legit. Like I said, when they will finish their investigation, I will come back here to comment.

                So I finally got an email from Anjouan Gaming. They accuse of violating many rules, like this:

                Based on the evidence presented, the following violations of BetPlays’ Terms and Conditions were identified:
                1. Multiple Account Registrations (Violation of Rule 3):
                  • It was found that you created multiple accounts on the BetPlays platform, which is strictly prohibited.
                  • Evidence shows that your accounts were linked by IP address and device information
                  • This activity is in direct violation of Rule 3, which prohibits players from creating or using more than one account

                What can I say, where to start... How to prove that I never had more that one account with them? They don't have to show any evidence, of course.

                They also claimed I used a VPN. I have a VPN on my laptop and it was turned off all the time I was using BetPlays. So they really made false claims that looked legit to Anjouan Gaming. Scammers can do this easily I guess...

                I knew that some sportsbooks operate like this, that this was part of the risk. I don't regret depositing there almost 3 months ago, there was not many red flags at the time. Of course I should have made a withdrawal when I reached around 3-5k$. I started by losing there, then deposit more, and I thought that my deposits were more safe than my wins. My mistake.

                But I stayed well within my bankroll, which is always the key when talking about gambling, or any risky business. So life goes on, and so many other sportsbooks are reliable.

                A website compiling reviews of sportsbooks was showing BetPlays with many one star reviews and horrible stories behind it and then, suddenly, 5 stars reviews arrived in a couple of days... Such a great timing...

                And I have no idea what to think about Anjouan Gaming. I will avoid them from now on, but cannot say for sure that they are part of the scam.

                  That's a very disappointing result. Thank you for updating the thread with it though.

                  It's tough to know if the regulator is bad or not, when it is so easy for the book to provide false evidence in private if they wish.

                  Hopefully if enough people make the same effort you have, the regulator will start to see this for what it is.

                    Asked for evidence of multi accounting and cheating. Was given none. Just poof. Account gone. No more response.

                    I've attempted to contact the licensee, but having read about their behavior in such cases, I have no real hope that my funds will be returned. Nor do I care at this point. I'm just trying to help other people not get robbed/scammed like I did.


                    I've attempted to raise awareness of this small rogue casino to sites like askgamblers, trustpilot and casinoguru.

                    200+ similar stories on trustpilot.
                    10+ similar stories on casinoguru, where casinoguru seems to take the side of the rogue casino every time. Even rating it a safe 8.0.


                    When this casino was under CEG it seemingly was somewhat safe. Now it's just a haven for high rollers to get their accounts deleted with their funds.

                    Reading trustpilot stories I realized that every single one of these stories is a high roller/ large bettor.

                    Dangerous site. Not a single good REAL story from this website, all are fabricated by their casino workers.

                        I have a month ago, no response. But I'm not surprised considering an Anjouan license doesn't really mean much.

                        Funniest thing about betplays is they go around writing fake reviews to sites like askgamblers, trustpilot and casinoguru. All the same monotone, advertising, similar constructs. You spend 5 minutes reading some of the positive reviews and you start cracking a smile realizing their all the same person just on different accounts.

                        I've attempted to raise awareness on this to these sites.

                        Trustpilot had 200+ negative reviews of people who went through the same thing I did. The truth is pretty clear on that site.
                        Funniest thing is they claim that all these people with negative stories were never clients of theirs.
                        All negative responses have " We have no record of you being a client " . I find this funny considering I have 50+ emails in my inbox from them, deposits, vip welcomes, the whole shabang. So do the rest of these people probably.


                        Casinoguru 10 people robbed in their stories. Still an 8.0 safe in their opinion and would gladly recommend this site to you probably.
                        In fact deleting negative reviews that reflect the truth about the casinos recent behavior after losing their CEG license.



                        I've been on 200+ casinos.
                        I've never multi accounted. Never cheated. Limited on 188 casinos. All of those have paid me my money. None of them have ever claimed that I was a multi accounter or cheater.

                        1gocasino, freshcasino, jetcasino, legzo, solcasino all same software, all limited me, all paid me. None claimed I was multi accounting or cheating.

                        If I wanted to " multi account " I would've opened an account in monrocasino, merlincasino, gizbocasino or others that I have saved in a list for myself. All same software.

                        I keep a list.


                        I wasn't the first to get robbed on betplays and I probably wont be the last.
                        I'm just trying to help people. And currently the best way to help is getting casino evaluator sites to realize they are promoting a very dangerous site that doesn't have a single positive real story.

                        Just horror stories. In december. Not october.

                            You're not wrong. But if you spend 10 minutes reading the trustpilot reviews etc, you will wonder how is it already NOT on the do not play list.

                            I find it scary a company can fake verified reviews on a site where ID is needed. Dozens of fresh accounts that are verified popping up to review a rogue casino. This alone is a security risk, where are they getting the ID's from? All the reviews written in the same tone, " I like (insert slot) very much, amazing results!" Who writes like that?

                            Trying to bring awareness to sites that are supporting this casino, but to no avail. Casinoguru is on another level of ignorance. Imagine going to a site that considers itself a safe casino evaluator, seeing an 8.0. Then thinking " well this seems decent." You sign up, only to get robbed of over 6000 euro.

                            More people will get scammed, more stories will pop up.
                            Evaluator sites will continue ignoring the same story from different people for some reason, at this point the only 2 explanations are corruption and ignorance. I lean ignorance.

                            6k is nothing to me but to someone else it can be life changing money. I know I'm not getting my money back and I'm fine with it, that's not what this is about. I make that in a week anyways. I just want to bring an end to this financial crime. It's pathetic.

                                  I've been waiting a couple of weeks but I'm starting to sense they don't care about paying me or they're stalling me etc.

                                  it's possible they could pay me next week because they said it takes 5 working days minimum to process a withdrawal. I'll find out next week if that's the case. If they haven't paid me then I'll have to contact them again....

                                  I wondered how reliable they were in general with payments....

                                    They appear to be eventually paying everyone from what I have seen. But they are slow paying. I would politely contact them every day or two to ask if there is any progress. To at least make sure you are ahead of non-complaining people.

                                    Sadly I dont think there is much better you can do apart from that right now.

                                      I contacted Betplays this evening and asked for any updates on my withdrawal. Their standard response is "it takes 5 working days minimum to process a withdrawal". I asked the operator if all my KYC documents were fully accepted by them - to prevent anymore KYC stoppages - because every stoppage means another "5 working days to process my withdrawal"! The operator said they'd
                                      escalate my query to the relevant department to ensure all my documents were KYC compliant and fully accepted by them!

                                      Hopefully I receive an email from them soon updating me on my withdrawal!

                                          No payment received! I contacted BetPlays.com Live Chat last night and they said the same thing - "they'll send a message/escalate this to their payments team" - but I never heard anything back.

                                          I wonder if anyone has been paid from Betplays.com in the last week/couple of weeks? I know some books can pay out at the beginning and gain trust and people say "Betplays.com pays out etc" but what if a book "turns rogue" over time and stops paying (or payments become extremely slow) their customers?! What then?!

                                              I haven't been paid but I contacted their Live Chat tonight and they said the same old thing:

                                              Withdrawal processing time takes up to 5 business days. You will be notified once your withdrawal has been fully processed.

                                              In the last few days I deposited with Bitcoin because it's easy to deposit/withdraw via Bitcoin. The "fishy thing" about their bitcoin withdrawal page is that it doesn't prompt me to enter my Bitcoin address - only the withdrawal amount?! I told Live Chat and they said "The payments team will ask me for my bitcoin address when they process my withdrawal".

                                              They could be stalling me big time or they might pay out?! I need more time to find out for sure!

I opened my BetPlays account in January 2025, I have made 2 deposits one on january 19th, I received a bonus and lost all my deposit and the bonus. On march 1st I made my 2nd deposit, probably received a bonus, (don't remember, can't verify because I can't log in my account, so I made some bets from march to september and made some gain. On september 18th I requested my first payout of 1500$. It took a little bit longer than 5 working days but I received the payout on september 29th. After receiving that payout I think my balance was at 1200$ or something, that payout make more confident about the integrety and honesty of that bookmaker. So, I continued to bet on sports but I increased my bet size. After few weeks BetPlays started to limit my bet size and mid november I was limited to only 13.80 CAD$ (probably 10 USD$). On november 16th I asked for a payout of 3336$ (my entire balance), yesterday november 24th, I asked on the live chat when I will receive the money, the agent responded to me that she will forward my request to the right department and I will receive an email. This morning I received that email:

                                                      That's the point, I don't know exactly why and for what they accuse me, I only have one account, beside me nobody of my friends or family have an account with BetPlays, so the fact I could have violate the rule 3, having multi-accounts is totally false...I asked them by Email to tell me what I did wrong but I have no answer from them. I also read the rule 9, honestly I really don't know why they accused me:
                                                      9.1 criminal activity??? WTF It's so weird, I know nothing about that, almost funny to read that...
                                                      9.2 Collusion and cheating, mainly it refer to cheating at poker or casino table, I didn't play at their poker or casino...
                                                      9.3 Fraudulent activity: I don't use anything to mask or manipulate my real location.

                                                      The only thing I could see, they don't want a player that could win constantly and they don't have to give a good reason to steal my money, they simply are scammers.

                                                      But I have a question, why you don't remove them from you're sportbooks recommandation? They have a rating of 4.2/5...
                                                      They don't deserve a good rating, I have read similar stories on your forum, what are you waiting to downgrade those scammers?
