Bet99 voided MTL/VGK series bets before game 3
I had placed several bets on MTL to win the series before the series started. The bets would usually go through a pending process (minute or so) and be accepted or rejected.

I got an email approx 1 hour before game 3 saying all the bets have been voided (excepts for the first one) as they are over their limits per their TOC.

I have had email correspondence with them, and have only received a $200 offer. (Payout over $3K)

Anyone else having this issue and any suggestions? If not I’ll just file a sports book complaint I guess …

    Sounds like a rookie move.

Did they explain what happened that allowed you to go above their limit? Was it any sort of claimed software error?

What's their limit on NHL series markets? That's frustrating that their software doesn't enforce their TOC, and that they waited until two games had been played. I was considering signing up there, but probably won't now.

Probably because Montreal won game 3.

They did it before game 3 started.

The very small offer they gave him suggests they think they limit should have been around $100, which seems weirdly low.

Has to be a bit more to this I think.

Let us know what happened here.

Software error on the NHL sereis limits? It's possible, but did they post limits? Is there any way to know if you've reached a limit?

Did not explain why. Said I was over the limit due to TOC and “ Your bets were not the only ones affected by this. We are a growing sportsbook and are working everyday to help prevent such issues. ”

Like I give a shit what they are working on. I rather have my bets.

When I first opened an account with them I spoke to an agent and asked about my maximum bet amounts/limits. I was told it was dealt with on a case by case basis. So if it gets accepted, then it’s approved…

I actually really liked them until this. I don’t know if I can trust them now.

Well they also voided the Montréal to win Game 3 bets too. But that was before puck drop so I didn’t feel like it wasn’t my biggest concern.

It was the fact that the series bet that had been in progress for days can be voided. It’s about trust that when my bet is accepted, it is truly accepted (or fixed immediately).

I am happy to see they have implemented my suggestions for preventing this situation from happening in the future. But pretty annoyed it comes with the cost of all the frustration of dealing with a Friday night, while still working, last minute scramble to try and replace bets from over a few days.

I think they spent too much on marketing and not enough on programming and directors. Which is pretty typical I guess.

                            Hate stories like this.

Book the bet, pay the bet.

                            Shit book.

I filed my sportsbook complaint with the good people at SBR. Not sure if anything will come of it or not. Never thought I would have to fight for my accepted bets to be re-accepted.

Hopefully being part of a degen forum pays off?!? Haha
