I have searched the SBR forum and apparently this issue is not local to me. My last $4400 bitcoin payout I received equivalent of $4143 and $5000 request before that I received the equivalent of $4878. The $5000 request before that I received so little that even customer support relented and gave me a $345 credit to cover the disparity. These fluctuations were not due to fluctuations in the bitcoin price. It is easy to track bitcoin price history (logged every 15 minutes) to verify this. Since the $345 was credited support has been a broken record with "price of bitcoin constantly fluctuating, currency conversion fees and third-party processing fees". It is nonsense. They just copy and paste the same thing every time. Even BetOnline doesn't do this sort of thing.

#2Yeah, I've come to terms with the fact that, while they say there are no fees for crypto withdrawals at GTBets, there absolutely are hidden fees. Either GTBets knows about this and is lying, or the fee is being deducted by their 3rd party bitcoin processor without their knowledge and they're just terribly ignorant.
It's hard to believe the latter since this has been going on for years.Comment -

#4This is true. Same experience. It's a typical tactic of a small-minded, petty bookmaking shop.

#13We spoke with GTBets on this. Players who feel they were shorted on their bitcoin withdrawals can contact GTBets for reimbursement. Due to using a third-party processor, there are times where amounts might vary between the amount shown as paid on the blockchain versus what the player received.
OP, we were told you were reimbursed twice for this? Please confirm.Comment -

They're lying.
If there was such variance it would sometimes benefit the player. In the case of GT, this never happens.

#15Why anyone would play on this book and use crypto for deposits/withdrawals is insanity. BETUS did the same thing to me with shorting me on BTC deposits/payouts and I walked away from them.Comment -

#16I thought I would give an update. As a result of making this post and emailing GTBets about it they did eventually get back to me with a refund for my last transaction. They said:
We are once again sorry about the amount that you were shorted, which has now been credited to your account based on the price found on blockchair.com. In your SBR post it was mentioned that it is likely 3rd party processor fees, which is exactly the case. Their fees are ever changing, and we have no control over them, so there are times that unfortunately exchanges like this do happen. When they do happen, we are happy to credit the difference, as we have done for you twice now.
Moral of the story: Pay attention and complain if you get shorted.

#18Originally posted by DontTailMeSometimes the player and the sportsbook aren't talking the same language. If they truly sent it, then you should be able to see the transaction on an online blockchain explorer, if not your wallet. If that transaction doesn't exist, and they said they "sent" it, then what they probably mean is that they sent it to their 3rd party bitcoin processor. I'm 99% sure that GTBets uses a 3rd party, so they don't really know payment status. All they know is that they sent the request.

#23I did get paid, from request to payment it was 80 hours and I was shorted 2.5% as expected. Not worth my time to go through support for reimbursement, I'm just not going to play at Game Time Bets any longer.Comment -
