They didn't offer anything, they said that they'd cancel the future bets. The "cashout" option is not available for that bet
Bovada no longer offering service for NY residents

"seems like bs given they have a "cash out" feature as well as live lines for all of the things they're canceling"
What do you mean?
Do you have any bets with live lines and/or cashout options that they have told you will be voided?.Comment -

#39Are you talking about 5dimes or Bovada?
Bovada said they would be voiding futures, which seems like bs given they have a "cash out" feature as well as live lines for all of the things they're canceling. For example, I have $2k on the Sixers to win the East at +500 and now the line is +285.
Also, we know what happens with bonus funds that haven't met their rollover?
After 6/21 they are not doing business in NY anymore and you won't be able to access your account. Any money you get paid after 6/21 is worthless. I had a nice future on the Suns that they voided at my request because the bet officially had zero upside.
You lose any bonus funds that haven't met the rollover. There was no way I was gonna meet my rollover by 6/21 so I forfeited the bonus and cashed out.Comment -

#40then I am confused about this comment I replied to?

However, cashout is turned on for some things and not for others. For my NBA futures, which are well in the black in equity terms, I would happily agree to cash them out at face value, withdraw my $ and go on my way, but the cashout feature is not enabled for those bets.Comment -

#41They have a feature called "cashout" where you can cash out certain bets at whatever the current live price is. So, they have the ability to do this if they choose.
However, cashout is turned on for some things and not for others. For my NBA futures, which are well in the black in equity terms, I would happily agree to cash them out at face value, withdraw my $ and go on my way, but the cashout feature is not enabled for those bets.
And if what you said was true, AT ALL, I would have been onto it right away to ask WTF was going on.
But it seems this is pretty much completely false? "seems like bs given they have a "cash out" feature as well as live lines for all of the things they're canceling" And you're wasting my time....Comment -
