Hi all, I'm having an issue with a sportsbook betonline and am not sure if this is the place to come to for help or not.

1st, i wouldn't say i'm completely new to sportsbetting. I live in a state where sports betting became legalized about a year ago. I have wagered with draftkings sportsbook a little bit over the last year.

About a month ago, a friend (who does alot more gambling than me) asked me to open an acct with a sportsbook called betonline and sent me a link to do so. He said that betonline was running a contest to see who could refer the most new customers and he was trying to win either money or a prize of some sort. Since i hadn't heard of betonline before, i was a little apprehensive but ended up doing it anyway and i deposited $100. Over the course of the last month, the balance increased to approx $1400. I tried to log in last week and all of a sudden, was unable to. I tried again the next day and same thing.

I then received an email saying that my acct has been permenantly closed due to "unethical behavior". I'm honestly not sure what this even means. I tried to go onto live chat and I tried to call them several times and got nowhere.

Can this site find out any info for me and more importantly get my acct re-opened and/or cashed out. I filled out a complaint form here back on Monday but haven't heard anything since.

I'm really kicking myself for even getting involved in this. Should have trusted my instincts.

I agree. You definitely can tell a lot about a book by their withdrawals. It's the most important characteristic of a sportsbook.

And BOL has the fastest withdrawals and one of the best payout reputations among all offshores.

Saying your withdrawal was declined means nothing. Have you contacted them and asked why yet? That information will be more telling.

I have asked them to tell me why. They haven't yet (although it's relatively early).

They emailed me to tell me to check messages on their site, I did that.

None of the messages on their site or their emails have told me why? All I get is DECLINED!

All I get is call this number and ask for this extension.

I tried and it didn't work, kept giving me 4 choices to make but none would work, just kept repeating. Coincidence?

And since I have company this week I asked them to just tell me without having to call in and find out what the problem is.

Very easy, right? Every book on the planet will tell you why they are refusing to pay you......

So far no luck.

Perhaps I'm wrong but this has all the feel of one of those "call several times, call several days and needlessly chase them" just for the hell of it, just to give the player a hard time.

And BTW I can appreciate honest feedback from other players but none of that refutes what someone who has had a problem is going through.

It's like a Doctor that has cut off the wrong arm 5% of the time......

95% of the patients are insisted he's a great Doctor based on their experience but that opinion is FAR FAR from reality for everyone.

I can appreciate some of you have had good experiences with BOL, perhaps mine will eventually go that way as well, but nothing others say takes away from the credibility of anyone else and their negative experiences with BOL.

Shit books have a few things working for them......

Obviously to remain open they are paying out players, at least most of them, just about every book that has an "OPEN" sign does that.

Those players will be heard from.

The other free pass books get is for the smaller amounts. They can penetrate with guys trying to get w/d's under a dime for example....

Short answer? Maybe, maybe not, but for sure shit books could harass minnows that ask for their money, easy to get away with it at low levels.

Well, I always recommend actually talking to someone before posting 100 times about an issue. It saves you from looking kind of silly when everything works out, or when it turns out that you haven't met a withdrawal requirement yet.

If you think BOL is scamming you, with the overwhelming consensus in this forum that they're an A+ book, I don't know what to tell you other than you worry too much.

A couple were rejected because of something like not confiming your address into the comment field but once you learn what they are looking for, they are simple to work with. Be patient, man. Take a deep breath. Give the process a chance to work itself out.

I realize they're an A+ book here and I'm not going to be real popular by complaining about anything.

I apologize in advance, I'm just confused.

I asked for a pay-out, got an email saying I was declined. It said go check messages on their site, I assumed I would find out the reason there why I couldn't get this small pay-out.

At the site when I find the message, it gives me a number and an extension to call.

I try but can not get through to that number. I ask them both by message on the site and through email if they can just send me the reason in writing why I'm not getting paid.

Not only having an issue getting through, I got company in town so it would help not to be on the phone too much calling my off-shore books.

Finally I decided to go to chat and ask the reason. The fellow was very nice but couldn't tell me I was declined.....

He said however he would have someone call me tonight after 8PM. It's just after 11PM here now, haven't heard a word.

I probably can be more patient I just never dealt with this before. Never had a book that wouldn't tell me what else I needed to get paid.

The rollover has been done. If it's a document or something they always just say so, usually in an email. Never been an issue finding out why I was declined before this.

Yes, I'm sure everyone gets paid. As an A+ book I don't doubt it, I'm just growing frustrated finding out why I can't get paid.

No, that wasn't the hold up, I wish that ended up being the case but it wasn't the issue.

That was just something they wanted to double check I guess.

They did ask for that email from originating account, I did it, but a short while later they declined my 2nd request to withdraw.

They didn't give me any new details but at least now I can rule out that potential issue.

They still want me to call, I'll continue to try and get through to find out what's going on.

Since I got family in town and having issues, they offered to call me after 8PM last night.

Later on I guess someone changed their mind, I got a message on the site I needed to call them, they weren't going to call.

Really a strange situation but I'm sure it will work out in the end.....

Having family in town, even extended family really puts things in perspective!
