I logged into my Betonline account for the first time in a month and found a $100 Free play added! My friend checked his account and found $20! Sportsbetting.ag does this, but when you try to bet the freeplay it doesn't let you place the bet. When I've emailed CS about it they don't reply, and when I've gone on live chat they put me on hold forever, give me a nonsensical one-line reply, and then boot me.

I'm glad others have had success with these freeplays, but for others like me they are just a way for the book to troll their own customers.

They sent out a promo for betting MLB. The terms and conditions say you can't do any withdraw for 30 days after you use the bonus. So if you are a regular there and it's not worth tieing up thousands of dollars of funds for a $20 freeplay I would recommend not using it.

This thread inspired me to try a trick to get my freeplay to work. For some reason, when I lost my balance my account would alternately show a balance of zero or -1 cent. I had a penny in my poker account there, so I transferred it to the sportsbook. My account showed a balance of $.01, which enabled my freeplay to work.

I bet on the A's and they won.

I never would have tried this out if not for this thread. Thanks doylebrinson!... that still doesn't excuse their atrocious CS, though.
