#77Does this help? This case seems related (payment sent to wrong BTC address). Payout was authorized on 4/22 (which means it was probably requested even days earlier than that):
And MyBookie credited this player with the amount lost:
https://www.sportsbookreview.com/for...l#post30250220
So he posted exact same situation as me at a later date and was paid a month later.

And I think that might also be why DontTailMe posted An actual instance that might be helpful.
Mybookie say he is lying, straight out and unambiguously.
As soon as he was asked to comment on that allegation he has gone into attack SBR ratings, complain to me the dispute agent isnt doing his job and insisting they are scammers.
The one thing he was asked to do that could help. He has not.
Is this starting to look smelly to you too as yet?.Comment -

#82Can you work out anything from that post to put to MyBookie that they are incorrect in saying they are sure the OP was paid and his claim falls outside the time frame the problem was happening? I can't without doing the research for him.

I think you want to extract specific user-level information from the links in #1 and #5. Those appear to be somewhat relevant - players having BTC sent to the wrong address, and in some cases, receiving fake emails from MyBookie after submitting payout request. You could include links to specific post numbers supporting your data. Between #1 and #5, you could have a strong case as those posts are before and after your date, respectively, and I think there are multiple users/examples in those threads. There might be additional relevant examples in #2 / 3, but no one can see. Also, note that several examples from Twitter were linked in those threads. Those could be useful to include if you can determine that any of those players were paid out by checking their Twitter feeds. If you can't find resolution, then they won't be helpful.
Good luck.Last edited by DontTailMe; 08-02-21, 07:24 PM.Comment -

Forum Name
Date first post made about this problem, and a link to that post.
Date the money went missing
Date they say they got re-paid if they do say.
If they mention sending in a complaint form.
And not in multiple emails full of irrelevant cases, HTML and other rubbish that still needs an hour spent on to wade through..Comment -

#94Time frame from above
So on
March 13th-I made my first cashout for 5k
March 14-MB disables my account, I clicked the link provided and was authenticated
March 15-
1225pm- text saying “THIS IS CONFIRMATION THAT YOU HAVE CANCELLED YOUR PAYOUT REQUEST”
I did not request this and have no idea why I received this message
1228(3 min later)
Alex, from my bookie, emails me and I send him a new BTC address
1230-1245 I was asked for a code via text message which I put in
1251 I received a final email from Alex saying my cashout would go through within 2 business days
I did take out emails addresses and other important information in the above posts. ALL original emails were forwarded to SBR staff months ago
For those that have been following the MYBOOKIE posts from other members, this is me just providing info that my case is identical.

I'm not pointing this out to damage your case at all. There's clearly another issue here, since: (a) they seemingly knew about your payout request immediately after it happened, and (b) they were able to access payout requests under your account. MyBookie and/or your account at MyBookie got hacked into somehow. That's not necessarily your fault - we have no way of knowing. Considering all of the similar payout issues MyBookie had around that time (and the fact that MyBookie compensated those other customers, thus accepting some degree of culpability), I'm giving you the benefit of doubt here.
I might be wrong, but that's my read of the situation based on what we've seen so far.Last edited by DontTailMe; 08-18-21, 03:58 PM.Comment -

#98You may have not provided MyBookie with that BTC address, but you might as well have if you gave the hackers your 2FA code. MyBookie used that as an indication that they can trust the hacker and, as a result, accepted their revised payout request with their BTC address.

Basically, they executed a classic phishing attack to get your help in submitting a new withdrawal with MyBookie. You gave them the 2FA code, which they then used to have their payout request authorized by MyBookie. It's as clear as day.
The proximity of the text/email timestamps is not proof that they both originated from MyBookie. All it means is that MyBookie and/or your account at MyBookie were hacked (which is exactly what I said in my previous post), so they knew when you submitted a payout request, and therefore knew exactly when you would be vulnerable to such a scam. The time proximity is a key component of their scam because it makes you believe that the email must be coming from MyBookie. It's quite an ingenious scheme, to be honest. But it all depends on them having access to your account (and possibly many others) in the first place. How they obtained that access is the great unanswered question. Several possibilities there.Last edited by DontTailMe; 08-19-21, 03:03 AM.Comment -

#102The pictures and emails shown are to prove that I am not making anything up. 5000 was stolen from me.
My yahoo email was never compromised so this points the finger to Mybookie. All of my passwords are encrypted using 1Password. MyBookie is arguing that my case falls out of the time frame when other cases had been resolved which you helped me prove otherwise.

I was only clarifying what happened here. The email you replied to with the 2FA code was a scammer. It almost certainly was NOT MyBookie. You were duped. It happens...a lot. That's why they do it.Last edited by DontTailMe; 08-19-21, 03:27 PM.Comment -

#104To be clear, I don't believe you are making anything up. And as I said in my post yesterday, while it's unclear how these scammers hacked into your account in the first place, I give you the benefit of doubt on this since: (a) MyBookie had a lot of payout issues around that time, and (b) they compensated other players, thus seemingly accepting some degree of culpability.
I was only clarifying what happened here. The email you replied to with the 2FA code was a scammer. It almost certainly was NOT MyBookie. You were duped. It happens...a lot. That's why they do it.
I know you dont think im making anything up, but others have stated that they pretty much dont believe me.
As far as the scammer, im gonna have to disagree with you.
The only way to get into my Mybookie account was my Email and that has 0 logins from a different IP.
Passwords on both are encrypted and never typed in. 1password handles all that so keylogging is almost impossible.
Mybookie would have had to been breached in order to get into my account.
The only way to cancel initial cashout was through mybookie
You have been awesome and i do respect your opinion. Thanks my dude

#105You say this...
But then say this...
Mybookie would have had to been breached in order to get into my account.
What I do know for sure is that the email in your screenshot is not from MyBookie and you were phished for a 2FA code. I find it astonishing that you cannot see that. It's the most obvious part of the whole scheme.Comment
